Chapter 96
“Estelle, now that you’re under the gaze of this demon, do you think you can escape?”
Lance wore a strange smile on his face.
He was looking forward to the future. It was going to be interesting.
In the villa, Dillon lit a cigarette and stared at the computer screen, lost in thought.
His feelings for Estelle were nothing but a sense of responsibility.
With that thought, Dillon dialed another number.
Soon, Brendan came to escort Estelle upstairs, arranging her room next to Dillon’s. He also gave her a set of sexy lace lingerie.
Estelle’s face flushed red, and then turned pale when she saw what he held.
She hid the anger in her eyes, keeping a calm expression as she looked at Brendan. “Go tell Dillon to give this to Alison, not me. I won’t wear it!”
With that, she slammed the door shut.
Estelle leaned against the door, her eyes betraying her as they filled with tears.
Damn it!
Five years had passed, and he still wanted to humiliate her.
Brendan didn’t understand why Estelle had such a strong reaction. He went back to the study
to seek Dillon’s help.
Dillon glanced at Brendan, then went back to his work.
When he said nothing, Brendan wasn’t sure what to do.
“Mr. Waverly?”
“Just leave,” Dillon said without looking up.
Seeing that Dillon wasn’t angry, Brendan finally relaxed and left.
That evening, Dillon didn’t go to see Estelle.
The next morning, Estelle came downstairs with dark circles under her eyes.
Dillon was already waiting for her.
Her heart tightened when she saw him.

She stood at the foot of the stairs, her eyes red and filled with wariness as she looked at Dillon.
“Come here,” he ordered coldly.
At that moment, the aloof, unapproachable Dillon had returned.
Estelle shivered involuntarily.
Looking at the decor in the room, she quickly regained her composure.
She took a deep breath and slowly walked over.
Dillon pointed to the seat beside him, signaling for her to sit.
She glanced at him, then at the breakfast spread on the table.
It was all her favorite dishes.
Seeing that she neither spoke nor sat, Dillon frowned.
“The chair isn’t going to bite you, and I didn’t poison the food.”
Estelle’s face reddened, and she quickly sat down.
Suddenly, he placed a piece of bread into her bowl.
Her lashes fluttered, and she quickly composed herself, looking at Dillon.
“Just get to the point. What do you want? This…” She gave a bitter smile.
Was this her last breakfast?”
Dillon’s frustration grew. “What do you mean by that? I don’t plan on starving my wife.”
Wife? Who was he referring to?
Estelle was even more confused.
After a moment of thought, she asked hesitantly, “You called me here just to have breakfast?”
“Is your stomach fine? You think you can casually treat it like this?” Dillon asked.
Now, She was even more confused.
She blinked in bewilderment and then asked, “Just for breakfast?”
“Estelle,” Dillon’s tone suddenly turned cold.
Hearing that familiar tone, Estelle finally breathed a sigh of relief.
This was the Dillon she was used to.
Looking at her expression, Dillon suddenly felt a twitch in his hand.
