Chapter 25
Percy snapped out of his daze at Yvonne’s words.
His mind wandered to how Stellar had been cleaning just hours ago and to the stinging slap she had landed on his face. His brows furrowed slightly, and in an attempt to assert control, he slid an arm around Yvonne’s waist and strode forward.
“Stellar, what are you doing in a place like this? Do you really think your cleaner’s salary can cover anything here? Or is this someone else’s money–a handout from some guy you managed to fool?”
Hearing his voice, Stellar turned. Her gaze swept over the pair, lingering briefly on their entwined bodies. A flicker of disgust crossed her eyes, but there wasn’t a hint of care or jealousy.
Without a word, she turned and walked toward another section of the boutique, ignoring them entirely.
The dismissal darkened Percy’s expression further. He had expected her to show some kind of reaction–anger, sadness, anything–at seeing him openly flaunting another woman.
But to his disappointment, there was none.
Scowling, he stormed forward and planted himself in her path, forcing her to stop.

“Did you not hear me talking to you?”
Stellar sighed, exasperated. Whatever feelings she once had for him had long since been worn away by his repeated provocations. She had no interest in justifying herself to him.
‘Why? Didn’t get slapped enough the last time, Mr. Moore Are you here for another one?”
Percy’s face turned an even darker shade as an oppressive tension filled the air around him.
“What did you just say?”
Unbothered, Stellar met his glare with a cold stare of her own.
“I’m simply reminding you, Percy, that we’ve broken up. Do you need me to explain what that means? Who I spend my money on, or whose money I use has nothing to do with you anymore.
“Besides,” she added with a scornful glance, looking him up and down. “At least someone is willing to spend money on me. Unlike you…”
Her gaze sharpened, and the mocking smile on her lips deepened.
“What’s this, Percy? Are you trying to make yourself feel important by parading in front of ne? Or are you hoping I’ll go back to being your free labor–helping you close deals without charging a penny? Freeloading, was it?”
Each word landed like a slap, stripping away any semblance of dignity he thought he had.
Percy’s face contorted in rage, his embarrassment boiling over.
“Stellar, what nonsense are you spouting?”
Stellar wanted to laugh but suddenly remembered Percy’s recent situation. After losing the Brighton Group deal to her, his company was already struggling with its IPO and was likely in a tight financial spot now.
She usually wouldn’t bother with him, but since he kept provoking her, she wouldn’t hold back.
She blinked and pretended to be confused.

Chapter 25
“Am I talking nonsense? Mr. Moore, are you upset about other men spending money on me because you’re too stingy to spend on women yourself? Sour grapes, is it?”
As she said this, her gaze swept intentionally toward Yvonne
Hearing this, Yvonne couldn’t hold back anymore.
“What are you talking about? Of course, Percy only spends money on those who deserve it. You didn’t get any because you’re not worthy. And anyway, it’s just a few dresses. Do you think Percy wouldn’t buy them for me?” Though furious, she suppressed her anger and cast a condescending glance at Stellar.
“What’s wrong, Sister? Did Percy never spend money on you when you were together?”
She was certain that no matter how expensive the dresses she picked, Percy would pay for them now. She just wanted Stellar to see the difference in how Percy treated her compared to Stellar.
Standing nearby, Percy, hearing Yvonne’s words, naturally had to agree. He couldn’t afford to be humiliated on
this matter.
Besides, how expensive could a few dresses be?
“The dresses she picked earlier–pack the same ones for Yvonne. You should know who to prioritize between a pretentious woman and a valued client.
