It took a long time before Timothy regained his voice.
Seth sneered lightly. “She’s not dead. Just asleep.
Not wanting to deal with these annoying people any longer, Seth immediately called security to have them escorted out.
The four of them were kicked out of the hospital and still hadn’t recovered from the shock. Especially Timothy, who was so scared that he fell to the ground.
Ethan grabbed him and stared into his eyes. “You’ve kept her locked up all this time, and don’t even know what state she’s in?”

Then, a sharp gaze shifted to Timothy. “You’ve been keeping Estelle locked up? Then, why did you tell me she was gone?”
No wonder Dillon couldn’t find her anywhere. So she was really in his care all along.
“I…” Timothy tried to speak a few times but found himself unable to explain.
Everyone fell silent, the atmosphere growing oddly tense.
Alison rushed in, and when she saw the scene, her heart instantly raced. She quickly composed herself and smiled as she approached them. “What are you all doing here at the hospital?”
Seeing their expressions, she wondered if they had learned about Estelle’s condition, or worse –if she was already dead.
Seeing Alison, their gazes softened a bit.
Ethan spoke first, “Alison, what brings you to the hospital?”
She clutched her stomach. “My stomach’s been bothering me, so I came to get it checked.”
Her words made them all think of Estelle again:
As Alison saw that they didn’t immediately crowd around her like before when she mentioned stomach issues, her heart tightened. Could it be that they were starting to sympathize with Estelle?
“By the way, how did you end up at the hospital?
“Nothing much. We just came to visit a relative. We’re about to head home now,” Ethan explained with a smile.
At this, Alison instinctively glanced at Dillon, who lowered his head and said, “I have things to do. I’m leaving first.”
With that, he walked past them.
“Dillon…” Alison was about to chase after him when Ethan suddenly stopped her.
“Alison, let Dillon go first.”
Alison had no choice but to give up on following Dillon.
Meanwhile, Dillon had returned to the villa and was about to go upstairs to find something related to Estelle when he saw the maids moving things out. These things looked like they came from Estelle’s room.
He stopped the maids and questioned in a cold voice, “Who gave you permission to move these?”
The maids were startled by the coldness in his voice.
The housekeeper rushed forward anxiously. “Mr. Waverly, Mrs. Waverly… Ms. Sawford told us to move these. She sent me a message last night.”
Worried that Dillon wouldn’t believe him, the housekeeper quickly showed him the message on his phone.
“I’ve divorced Dillon and won’t be coming back. Please dispose of all my things.”
“Put them back,” Dillon uttered coldly.
Seeing that he was upset, the housekeeper was confused. Wasn’t getting a divorce what Dillon had always wanted? Why was he angry now?
Dillon scanned the villa.
It seemed so empty, devoid of any warmth or life.
“Mr. Waverly?” the housekeeper called him softly.
Dillon snapped his attention back to the housekeeper, his cold eyes locking on him. “Does Estelle have stomach issues? Did you know about that?”
The housekeeper froze for a moment, a flash of uncertainty crossing his eyes.
Everyone in the villa knew that Estelle wasn’t favored by Dillon, so they didn’t attention to her. As for whether she had stomach problems, they didn’t know.
After a long silence, Dillon didn’t need any more answers.
“Put everything back.”
With that, he strode up the stairs.
