Seeing that Dillon was still defending Alison, Baxter shrugged slightly.
Meanwhile, the Sawford family had gathered to discuss Estelle’s stomach cancer.
Timothy was kneeling in front of Bobby with his head lowered in guilt.
After a moment, Bobby sighed again. “Forget it. Since Estelle is dead, let’s not dwell on it. First, focus on handling Alison and Dillon’s wedding.”
Ethan suddenly frowned at the mention of the wedding.
Even Timothy looked completely disbelieving. Dad, what do you mean by that? How could Estelle be dead? She must have been faking it!”
With that, Timothy stood up and looked at Ethan, feeling wronged. “Ethan, she was faking it, right?”
Seeing Timothy getting emotional, Ethan pressed his lips tightly together and didn’t say a word.
Not getting an answer, Timothy turned to Alison “Alison, you have to tell them! You saw Estelle’s medical report before. She didn’t have stomach cancer, not even stomach problems.”
“I…” Alison’s eyes welled up with tears, and she stepped behind Bobby, feeling wronged. She shot a resentful glance at Timothy.
In the past, Timothy had never spoken to her so loudly.
“Timothy, I didn’t expect Estelle would lie to me. Don’t be too upset.”
Seeing that she wasn’t supporting him, either, Timothy angrily grabbed a throw pillow and threw it on the ground, kicking it several times.
“Are you all out of your mind? That troublemaker just wants us to focus on her. She wants us to overlook all the chaos she caused outside. She’s not dead!”
Estelle had even teamed up with the maids to stage an act. How could she be dead?
Timothy glared at Alison again.
Alison quickly lowered her head. “Timothy, she’s dead and won’t come back again. Please accept it.”
Timothy’s eyes immediately showed disappointment.
Why wasn’t Alison on his side anymore?
Then, he swore firmly, “Just wait! I’m going to find her right now!”
Chapter 18
With that, he stormed out and went directly to Seth’s house.
Coincidentally, Seth was home. When he finally opened the door, Timothy pushed past him, forcing his way inside.
“Where is Estelle?”
Timothy scanned the room but didn’t find her, so he walked back out.
Seth stood with his arms crossed, looking at Timothy with disdain. “Mr. Sawford, isn’t it a bit too late for you to come now? Why would you think Estelle is here with me?”
Timothy sneered. “Stop pretending. I know Estelle isn’t dead. You two are just acting, right?”
Seth scoffed. “Who would joke about death? Besides, if Estelle were dead, wouldn’t you be happy, Mr. Sawford?”
“I…” Timothy was suddenly at a loss for words.
Of course, he’d be happy!
He grabbed Seth’s collar. “I know you know her You must know where she is. Bring her out right now, and I’ll forgive her this time.”
Seth shrugged. “You’ve already searched the place. Mrs. Sawford died of stomach cancer, too. You should be very familiar with what that diagnosis entails. Do you really think Estelle had any hope of surviving?”
“The medical record is fake. You’re a doctor. Making a fake record is easy,” Timothy retorted.
Seth rolled his eyes. He then pointed toward the door. “Get out. Instead of making up stories here, it would be better for you to live your life well. After all, she’s dead, as you all wished.”
“Shut up!” Timothy suddenly swung his fist, landing a punch on Seth’s face.
Seth wasn’t prepared and was knocked to the ground.
Timothy stepped forward again and kicked him.
“Hand Estelle over, or I’ll have you fired and blacklisted in the entire industry,” Dillon’s ve
echoed.
