Ethan shot a cold glance at Bobby and Timothy.
Timothy instantly quieted down. “Ethan, you didn’t see how outrageous Estelle was today. She hasn’t contacted us in five years, and she’s obviously been laughing at our misfortune.” Ethan wearily rubbed his forehead and sighed. “I had someone look into it. Estelle’s medical records from back then are genuine. She must’ve met a really skilled doctor.”
With that, Ethan let out a bitter smile.
If it were them, Estelle would probably be long gone by now.
Timothy suddenly stood up, staring at Ethan in disbelief. “Ethan, you don’t actually want her back, do you? She’s always been against Alison, and now she has the cancer drug. Won’t Alison be at her mercy?”
When Alison saw that someone had finally thought of her, she felt a little better.
Tears welled up in her eyes, and she shook her head, saying, “I’m fine. As long as Estelle is willing to come back, that’s all that matters.”
Seeing how understanding she was, Timothy grew fonder of Alison.
Only Ethan looked at her with a bit more suspicion.
Alison nervously lowered her head. “I’m still very curious. Why did Seth hide the news about Estelle and give her the cancer drug patent?”
