Chapter 35
Estelle stayed calm and composed. If anything, she became more cautious as she gave Dillon a once–over. “What do you want from me? Are you finally going to divorce me?”
He was already visibly upset, and most people wouldn’t dare make eye contact with him now. But she kept on talking as if she didn’t notice it. I’d be happy to divorce you. How about you pull a few strings so we can speed up the process and get the divorce papers done straight away, Mr. Waverly?”
Dillon scoffed in anger. He grabbed Estelle’s arm and pulled her in front of him. “You’re something else, Estelle. You vanished for five years, and now you want a divorce as soon as you return.”
She looked down at his hand with disgust, like it had touched something filthy. “Let go!”
Seeing the look in her eyes, Dillon felt his temper flare up again. Did she hate him so much? If
that was the case…
With a chime, the elevator door opened. Then, a familiar and cheerful voice came through, I’m so glad you’re okay, Estelle.”
Realizing it was Seth, Dillon looked up with a cold glint in his eyes.
When Seth met Dillon’s stare, he stopped smiling, and his gaze became guarded as well. The air between them thickened with unspoken tension.
Madison sensed trouble and immediately pulled Estelle behind Seth. Meanwhile, with people backing her up, she began venting all her frustrations, like words just spilling out uncontrollably.
Realizing Estelle was being threatened by a few men, Seth immediately tensed up and looked at Estelle with concern. “Are you alright?”
Estelle immediately shook her head. “I’m fine.”
Dillon’s gaze turned colder and colder. Were Seth and Estelle seriously acting all affectionate in front of him? Did they think he was invisible?
He coldly ordered, “Get over here, Estelle.”
Upon hearing Dillon calling out to her, Estelle gazed at him in disgust. “Thanks for showing up today, but we’re even now. I don’t want to see you again, Mr. Waverly. See you.”
With that, she just spun on her heels to leave.
Feeling exasperated, Dillon just broke into laughter. Did she just kick him away after using him?
He narrowed his eyes, fixing his cold gaze on Estelle like the eyes of a venomous snake.

Chapter 35
Estelle’s heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively grabbed onto Seth’s sleeve. Watching the scene unfold, Dillon goi even more pissed.
What the hell? Did Estelle act like Dillon was nothing?
As the tension was building, Alison and Timothy showed up. “What are you doing here, Estelle?”
Seeing how close Estelle and Seth were, Timothy looked like he had stumbled upon a secret as he excitedly looked at Dillon. “I told you these two had something going on.”
Dillon turned his icy gaze to Timothy before looking at Alison. “What brings you here?”
Hearing the displeasure in his voice, Alison’s face instantly turned pale.
Luckily, she had learned to hide her emotions from a young age and quickly switched back to her sweet, innocent look. “I heard Estelle was having dinner with a medicine supplier, so I thought I’d drop by and talk to her about collaboration. I’m interested in cancer treatment drugs.”
Alison’s reason was pretty legitimate and flawless. But since it was coming from her, Estelle wasn’t buying it.
