Chapter 37
Estelle was fed up with pretending to be Dillon’s wife.
Dillon noticed Estelle push him away, and his eyes instantly went gloomy. But just as quickly, he regained his composure. “Tomorrow, I’ll drop by with Zayne to talk about our
collaboration. Take some time to think about it.”
Before leaving, Dillon shot a cold look at Seth. Thanks for taking care of my wife these past five years.”
Wife?
Seth was still in a daze when Dillon had already left. Meanwhile, Timothy and Alison were completely shocked by Dillon’s words.
Then, Timothy furiously glared at Estelle. “If you don’t say sorry to Alison, you’re not leaving here today.”
Seth was still lost about what Dillon was thinking when Timothy’s threat brought him back to his senses.
With a blank face, he turned to Timothy and gently warned, “What you’re doing is harassment, Mr. Sawford. There are also cameras everywhere.”
Alison tugged at Seth’s sleeve. “It’s okay, Timothy. I don’t mind swallowing a few insults. Dillon still wants to work with Estelle, so let’s not upset her.”
Realizing the collaboration would be his opening, Timothy suddenly had a new idea. He menacingly grinned. “I’ll make you regret this, Estelle.”
After saying his piece, Timothy walked away with Alison.
Watching him leave, Estelle couldn’t help but knit her brows together. Was he up to no good again?
Seth put his hand on Estelle’s shoulder, pulling her closer. “Don’t worry. I’ve got your back. If Timothy goes too far, my teacher will step in and take care of him.‘
Estelle giggled, then looked away and continued walking out.
After returning home, Dillon saw Kenneth Waverly, the most respected person in the Waverly family, sitting in the living room. His eyes were sharp, exuding an overwhelming presence.
Dillon seemed to ignore him and took a seat across from him. “What brings you here?”
Seeing how cold Dillon was, Kenneth snorted. “You still have the nerve to ask me that? If I hadn’t come to you today, I bet you weren’t planning on going back to the Waverly residence.”

Dillon dismissively glanced at Kenneth before looking down again. His face darkened at the blatant disregard.
Kenneth took a sip of the coffee and sternly remarked, “I heard Estelle didn’t die and came back.”
When Estelle was brought up, Dillon’s eyes betrayed a flicker of emotion. “She holds the patent for the cancer treatment drug.”
Hearing this, Kenneth chuckled lightly. His keen eyes seemed to have figured Dillon all out.” Are you worried I’ll go after Estelle? Even if she had ten cancer treatment drug patents, crushing her would still be a walk in the park.”
Dillon pursed his lips without saying anything, but the displeasure in his eyes caught Kenneth’s attention.
Then, Kenneth grinned again before standing up. “Since Estelle has come back, you’d better clean up your mess. The Waverlys operate differently from the Sawfords. I can’t tolerate underhanded stuff.”
With that, Kenneth walked past Dillon. After a while, he turned around in amusement and looked at Dillon. “Looks like you’re regretting it. But you have to face the consequences of your actions, Dillon. After you make a choice, there’s no going back.”
Dillon clenched his fists, exuding an unsettling chill around him.
Why couldn’t he turn back? No one could decide for him. Dillon pulled out his phone and dialed Zayne’s number.
