Dillon firmly held Estelle’s arm. “The anniversary of Mrs. Sawford’s passing is coming up in two days. The Sawford family won’t let you into the cemetery.”
Estelle was taken aback. She looked at Dillon with confusion, wondering what he meant.
Dillon’s next words cleared up her confusion. “The Sawfords don’t have the guts to stop me.”
Estelle couldn’t help but laugh, eyeing Dillon with interest. “Why are you suddenly being so nice? Did you fall for me again after I ‘died,‘ Dillon?”
Dillon’s expression darkened as he scolded, “Do you have any shame? I’m only helping you because of the cancer treatment drug.”
Everything still boiled down to the cancer treatment drug.
Estelle scoffed at the realization. Someone like him wouldn’t do anything without expecting something in return.
But Dillon had a point. She had severed ties with the Sawford family five years ago, and now she even “bullied” Alison. There was no way they’d let her in.
After glancing at Dillon, Estelle lowered her head, lost in thought. She paused for a moment and nodded with a smile. “Alright, Mr. Waverly. I’ll leave this to you. Pick me up two days later.

Seth’s eyes betrayed his disapproval. “Estelle…”
Estelle playfully winked at Seth, signaling that she didn’t mind.
Dillon’s face darkened a little more as he watched their interactions. He wasn’t fond of the intimate exchanges between them. Had Estelle totally forgotten she was still married?
Holding her arm, he shoved her into his car and slammed the door shut.
Estelle was panic–stricken as she glared at Dillon. “What are you doing, Dillon?”
Seth was startled as well. “We live in a lawful society, Mr. Waverly. You’d better let her go.”
Dillon looked at Seth with cold eyes and softly warned, “Estelle is still my wife. Keep crossing the line, and the Lancaster family will pay the price.”
Did Dillon seriously threaten Seth with the Lancaster family?
Furious, Seth clenched his fists, but he didn’t have the guts to throw a punch.
It didn’t matter if Dillon went after him alone, but the Lancasters would be jeopardized. He
couldn’t let them suffer because of him.
When Dillon saw Seth back down, his eyes flashed with contempt. Then, he got into the car

from the other side and told the chauffeur to take off.
Estelle shrank into the corner, fixing her eyes on him. “Where are you taking me, Dillon?”
Noticing the distance between them, Dillon quickly pulled her closer.
As the familiar warmth filled his senses, the restless feeling in his chest slowly calmed down. His tone softened, too. “You’re still Mrs. Waverly Why are you living with another man all the time? Do you really think the Waverly family is that easy to push around, Estelle?”
Upon hearing it was about the Waverly family’s reputation, Estelle immediately breathed a sigh of relief. She had forgotten about Dillon’s status in the Waverly family.
She tried to pull her wrist free from his tight grip and frowned. “Let go.”
Why did Estelle push Dillon away like this?
Instead of letting her go, he pulled her even closer to him. When he lowered his gaze, his dark eyes showed her reflection.
Estelle felt her heart race. She blushed and quickly turned away from his eyes, her voice shaking. “Let me go. Alison will get upset again if she sees this.”
Dillon reprimanded, “That’s none of your concern. Shut up!”
He hated hearing anyone else’s name from Estelle, even if it was a woman’s.
