Bobby muttered, “You rascal!”
He was so furious that he could barely hold it together, but he couldn’t think of anything worse to say. Estelle was really driving him crazy,
After a long silence, Bobby coldly grunted, his eyes full of disdain, “You’ve got no principles and morals. Since you’re still alive, sign the contract and stop causing trouble for the Sawford family.”
Estelle was taken aback. “What contract?”
Did she sign something completely nuts before she left?
Bobby’s gaze turned even more menacing. “You’re not thinking about putting someone else in charge of the cancer treatment drug distribution, aren’t you?‘
Estelle suddenly got it. “You’re asking for distribution rights, huh? Everyone else talks to me nicely, but you act so full of yourself, like I owe you something.”
She then followed her statement with an eye roll.
Bobby clutched his aching chest, struggling to catch his breath. Estelle used to be too scared to even speak up loudly, and now she had the nerve to speak as such.
Dillon was also taken aback, and there was a hint of affection in his eyes that he didn’t realize. The confident Estelle was way more attractive than the shy beauty she used to be.
Frowning, Ethan wanted to say something when Estelle cut him off, “Listen up, everyone. I think there’s been a misunderstanding. I’m here to honor my mother, not to waste my time with you pathetic losers. Got it?”
Pathetic losers?
Timothy flared up in anger. But before he could say anything, Ethan coldly glanced at him and made him shut up.
Estelle didn’t bother with them anymore. After paying her respects, she just ignored them and left.
Watching her walk off, Bobby turned to Dillon with a frustrated look. “Why did you bring her here, Dillon?”
Dillon kept a straight face. “She’s Mrs. Sawford’s daughter. It’s her right to honor her.”
With that, he left as well.
Alison balled her fists and clenched her teeth, her eyes betraying intense jealousy. She wanted nothing more than to kill Estelle right now.
Chapter 44
After a thoughtful look at Alison, Ethan started walking down as well.
Estelle wasn’t as calm as she looked. As she walked away, she returned to the car and stared at the cemetery in a daze, her eyes slowly becoming teary.
Suddenly, the car door beside her was pulled open, and Dillon slid into the seat.
She quickly wiped her tears and looked at him with a straight face. “Thanks. We’re even now.”
He pressed his lips together, and his deep eyes were full of mystery to her. “We’re even?” Sensing the intense gaze, Estelle subtly moved closer to the window with her hand holding the door handle. If Dillon made any sudden movement, she’d bolt out of the door.
Watching her reaction, he couldn’t help but sigh in defeat. “Keep this up with the Sawford family, and they’ll come for you.”
་
Estelle giggled, but soon, her eyes were filled with contempt. She then shook her head in
amusement.
Suddenly, she knitted her brows together as Ethan walked over to the car and tapped on the window.
Seeing it was Ethan, Dillon glanced at Estelle before rolling down the window. “What’s the matter?”
Ethan looked past Dillon at Estelle inside. “I just want to talk.”
His tone left no room for negotiation, and she just sneered at it.
Gazing at Ethan, Estelle mocked, “If I don’t listen to you, are you planning to lock me up psychiatric ward, Mr. Sawford?”
