Soon, she fell asleep against Seth’s shoulder.

He looked down at her quietly for a long time. Without a word, he shifted ever so slightly closer so she could rest more comfortably. Lowering his head, he gently nuzzled the top of her hair.

The next morning, Estelle came running down the stairs excitedly, clutching her phone in her hands. When she saw Seth in the kitchen, she rushed in and held the phone up to share the good news.

Seth was stunned for a moment after reading the text message. Then, he smiled at her. “I knew you were going to figure things out. So, when are we going over?”

Estelle was ecstatic. She hopped onto a stool and replied to Mason’s message after sharing the good news with Seth. “I arranged to meet Mason at 3:00 pm. I’ll get everything ready, and we’ll have just enough time to head over after lunch.”

The smile on her face deepened without her realizing it at the thought of how Ronald was now willing to meet her. Maybe she was lucky after all!

Seth was also glad to see her smiling so brightly. He beamed too.

After further liaising with Mason, Estelle went back upstairs after breakfast to organize the materials she needed.
