After waiting for what felt like an eternity, there was still no sign of Estelle making a move. Instead, it was Timothy who suddenly rushed up to her, raising his hand to strike.
Estelle, however, wore an expression of indifference, not even flinching when he came to stand right in front of her.
Before Timothy’s slap could land, Seth forcefully pushed him away.
With a cold expression, he turned to Timothy and warned in a low voice, “This is not a place for you to act out, Mr. Sawford.”
A flash of murderous intent crossed Timothy’s eyes, but he quickly sneered in contempt.
“Even if I killed Estelle right now, do you really think my family would blame me?”
With that, Timothy shot a disdainful look at Estelle.
“She’s just a worthless piece of trash that the Sawford family doesn’t want. Only you think she’s worth something.”

He was about to retort, but Estelle pulled him back by the arm.
She then turned her attention to Jonathan.
Under her gaze, Jonathan’s face became even more awkward.
He couldn’t help but feel more resentment toward Timothy.
It was all his fault. If Timothy hadn’t forced him to reject Estelle in the name of Ethan, he
wouldn’t have dared to offend Dillon.
As soon as he thought of Dillon, Jonathan’s eyes suddenly brightened.
Jonathan awkwardly smiled at Estelle.
“Ms. Sawford, after all, this is a family matter for you. How about we invite Mr. Waverly to join us and have a good chat?”
Upon hearing this, Estelle’s face paled slightly.
After a long silence, she finally gathered her thoughts and asked hesitantly, “Are you saying that Dillon is involved in this?”

So, not only did Timothy want to shut her down but Dillon was involved, too? A bitter smile spread across Estelle’s face.
“That’s too bad for him.”
Not only did he have to warn Jonathan, but he also had to go talk behind her back to Ronald.
Alison noticed the look on her face, and a flash of triumph crossed her eyes.
She wanted Estelle to misunderstand so that she could sever any possibility of a relationship between her and Dillon.
But soon, Estelle smiled again. This time her gaze was more carefree.
“What a pity. You guys are moving too quickly with your schemes. They’re about to fall apart.”
With that, Estelle turned back to Jonathan.
“Mr. Glover, you should know what my collaboration with Mr. Pembroke means, right? I’ve already made some samples with the batch of materials you gave me. When Mr. Pembroke’s materials arrive, I’ll make another batch, and we can compare them properly.”
“Please, no.”
Jonathan’s face instantly drained of color.
He quickly begged, “Ms. Sawford, I’m just a supplier, I don’t have much power. Please, have mercy and let me off this time. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to compensate you properly.”
With that, Jonathan was about to kneel before her.
Surprised by his overreaction, Estelle immediately helped him back to his feet.
She then turned her cold gaze toward Timothy.
“As long as I’m here, no one is going to ruin our partnership. Timothy, you may think people. don’t know about the shady dealings of the Sawford family, but I’m not a fool. If you push me too far, I’ll report you. We’ll see who ends up behind bars.”
“I dare you!” Timothy barked angrily.
Estelle sighed deeply.
The next moment, she dialed a number.
“Hello, I’d like to report that the Sawford family is involved in tax evasion… Yes, I have evidence.”
Seeing she was serious, Timothy instantly panicked.
He turned to the door and yelled, “What are you guys waiting for? Get in here and stop this

Moments later, several bodyguards dressed in black suits walked into the room.
Seeing so many bodyguards, a bad premonition stirred in Estelle’s heart. Was Timothy planning to use force on her?
