Chapter 70
Yet, Estelle couldn’t help but think about Dillon.
Did Dillon not team up with Timothy to blacklist her? Could it be that he’d had a change of
heart?
Her phone suddenly rang. It was a photo from Alison. In the photo, Dillon was holding Alison in his arms. They looked incredibly intimaté.
Estelle scoffed.
She had actually thought Dillon might have developed a conscience. But now it seemed like he was just trying to get Alison’s attention.
Timothy was still cursing Estelle when he noticed Alison’s strange behavior. Confusion
flashed in his eyes.
“What are you doing?”
Alison immediately shook her head.
“I’m fine. I’m just so envious of Estelle. It seems like Dillon hasn’t forgotten her after all these years. No wonder he didn’t want to marry me.‘
After sending the photo to Estelle, Alison quickly deleted it.
As she spoke, her eyes reddened. She turned away, not wanting Timothy to see her cry.
This sight stabbed at Timothy’s heart.
He pulled her into his arms, gently stroking her back to comfort her.
“Alison, don’t worry. Even if Dillon doesn’t give you justice, you still have me. I’ll stand up for
you.”
“Timothy…” Alison looked up, her tear–filled eyes full of gratitude.
This made Timothy feel a little proud of himself.
Alison carried a food box up to Waverly Tower, but was stopped by Zayne at the door.
Zayne, maintaining a businesslike attitude, spoke in an awkward tone, “Ms. Harringt please don’t make things difficult for me. Mr. Waverly said no one can enter without an appointment, not even the chairman.”
Hearing this, she almost lost her balance.

She forced a smile and said, “Zayne, could you please tell Dillon that I need to speak with him about Estelle?”
About Estelle?
Zayne gave Alison a scrutinizing look, and then after a moment, he said, “Wait here. I’ll check if Mr. Waverly’s meeting is over.”
He went into the office.
Not long after, he returned.
“You’re just in time. Mr. Waverly has finished his meeting. Ms. Harrington, you can go in now.
“1
“Thank you.”
Alison followed him inside.
After escorting her in, Zayne left the office.
Dillon looked at her. “You have something to say about Estelle?”
Well, it looked like he had already been distracted by Estelle.
Alison held back her humiliation and nodded. “I’m also very concerned about my sister. I reached out to a friend of mine overseas to check on her. It seems she has a very good relationship with Mr. Lancaster. During her hospitalization, he was the one keeping her company.”
“So?”
Dillon’s expression didn’t change much.
Unable to read his emotions, Alison took a deep breath and suddenly grew bolder.
“Dillon, it’s been five years. Estelle doesn’t have feelings for you anymore. Now she just wants a divorce. Or else…”
“Alison.” Dillon suddenly interrupted her.
His black eyes locked onto her, hiding whatever thoughts lay beneath. But those eyes were still frightening.
Alison swallowed hard.
“What’s going on?”
She wanted to smile, but staring into his eyes, that smile wouldn’t come.
Dillon asked, “Why did you forge Estelle’s medical reports?”
Alison felt like a loud crash went off in her head, and everything went blank.

Did Dillon already find out?
