Chapter 77
Chapter 77
“Stop right there.” Bobby suddenly spoke.
Hearing his voice, Estelle turned her head, curiosity in her gaze.
“Do you want to make things worse for yourself?”
“You ungrateful wretch!”
Bobby roared, his face turning red with fury.
He took a step forward, his eyes narrowing with malice as he glared at Estelle. “I’m your father, and you dare disrespect me? Do you think won’t teach you a lesson?”
With that, he raised his hand, seemingly ready to strike.
Seeing this scene unfold, Marcus rushed back to the neighboring villa in a panic to inform Dillon of the situation.
Dillon didn’t even flinch, calmly instructing Marcus to leave. It seemed he wasn’t planning to help Estelle.
Noticing Dillon’s indifference, Marcus couldn’t help but speak again.
“Ms. Sawford is really pitiful. The Sawford family has never been close to her. If someone intervenes now, Ms. Sawford would surely be grateful.”
Dillon looked up, his cold eyes filled with an indecipherable expression.
Thinking Dillon was upset with his interference, Marcus quickly lowered his head in fear.
Soon, Dillon smiled faintly.
“Let her be isolated. In the end, she’ll have no choice but to beg me for help. Isn’t that even better?”
Marcus hesitated for a moment, then fear gripped him.
If Dillon truly thought this way…
He couldn’t bring himself to imagine the consequences.
Dillon waved his hand, signaling Marcus to leave
Meanwhile, outside the villa, Bobby waved his hand and called the security team.
“Take her back to the Sawford family.”
“Wait!” Madison immediately stepped in front of Estelle.
Seeing this, Bobby frowned in annoyance.
Chapter 77
He gave Madison a disdainful look before responding with a warning, “Ms. Lancaster, this is a family matter. I advise you not to get involved.”
Madison smiled in a dismissive manner, glancing at Estelle.
“Considering how much we’ve contributed to the cancer treatment drug, we’re kind of important here. Should I go ask Chief Price for help?“.
Estelle shook her head gently.
“These people wouldn’t dare to touch me. And as for my mother’s inheritance, I won’t give it
up.”
With that, Estelle clapped her hands, signaling for the situation to end.
Before long, several black sedans pulled up.
A group of bodyguards dressed in black stepped out of the cars, each of them exuding an intimidating aura.
Seeing them, Bobby began to feel uneasy.
Timothy, however, wasn’t fazed. He shot a warning look at Estelle.
“Estelle, you’d better hand over Mom’s inheritance to Alison. Otherwise, I’ll make sure you regret it.”
“Who’s she supposed to be?” Estelle sneered as she shot a look of disdain at Alison.
Seeing that she was about to cry again, Estelle immediately interrupted Alison’s plan.
“Mom left the inheritance to me because she knew you’d try to bully me. Whether it’s you, Timothy, or anyone else, if you want the inheritance, keep dreaming!”
With that, Estelle grabbed Madison’s arm and started walking toward the villa.
Seeing her being so dismissive, Bobby immediately chased after her.
The other three siblings followed as well.
Once inside the villa, Alison was visibly furious, glaring at the luxurious surroundings.
How could someone like Estelle–an abandoned wretch–deserve to live in such a place?
The Sawford family men were equally shocked. Especially Ethan.
He quickly estimated the value of everything around him and realized that Estelle couldn’t have possibly bought this villa on her own. And considering the extravagant decor of the place, it must have cost tens of millions, maybe even hundreds of millions.
“Timothy, look at that painting. Isn’t it by a famous ancient artist?”
Upon hearing Timothy’s remark, Ethan immediately turned his attention to it.
