Estelle had been listening to this blonde man for what felt like forever. When could she finally leave?
“Are you even listening to me?” the man suddenly snapped at her, clearly irritated.
Pressing her fingers to her throbbing temples, she responded coldly, “Sir, I don’t think we have anything to talk about. Please let go of me. Otherwise…”
A flash of cold intent flickered in her eyes.
But instead of backing off, the man laughed.
He lit a cigarette with a cocky air. “Do you even know who I am? How dare you talk to me like that!”
Estelle shook her head honestly. “Nope. I have no idea who you are. Do you want to enlighten me? Tell me who exactly are you supposed to be?”
“You-”
The man’s face turned beet red with fury.
Noticing people nearby beginning to whisper and point, he finally snapped.
He raised his hand to strike her. “You bitch! I’ll kill you!”
Just as he was about to strike her, someone came to the rescue and caught his wrist.
Then, with a powerful shove, the man was sent sprawling.
Dillon stood beside her, eyes cold as he watched the man. “Do you have a death wish?”
Stunned that someone had intervened, the man struggled to his feet, eyeing Dillon. “Who the hell are you?”
Dillion’s expression remained cold and unreadable, showing no reaction when he saw that the man didn’t recognize him.
The man felt a chill run down his spine.
Those eyes–just one glance was enough to make him feel an overwhelming sense of pressure.
The man barely managed to straighten up before he swallowed hard and continued his warning, “I’m from the Cook family in Godon. Who the hell are you?”
“Her man,” Dillon replied flatly..
Then, he slipped an arm around Estelle’s shoulders and pulled her into his chest.
Estelle, who had been enjoying the show, suddenly froze. The next moment, she began

struggling to break free from his embrace.
But he didn’t budge an inch.
“Let go!” she said through clenched teeth.
Instead of moving, Dillon smiled faintly, as if amused by her resistance..

“You sure you want me to do that? If I let go now, he’ll know we’re not really together. The. Cook family owns thousands of pharmacies across the country.”
At that, Estelle was stunned. She lowered her head and didn’t say a word for a long time.
Dillon understood that she had given in.
She couldn’t afford to offend the Cook family.
Glancing down at her in his arms, he smiled.
Watching the two interact, the man who had still been holding onto doubt could only give up
in the end.
Dillion clearly wasn’t someone to mess with, and he, being nothing more than a useless heir, couldn’t risk dragging his family into trouble.
He scoffed at Estelle with disdain. “You’re in a relationship and still out here trying to seduce
others. How shameless.”
Estelle’s brows furrowed, her lips pressed tightly together.
“Who did she seduce?” she thought.
Dillon let out a low chuckle.
The way she puffed her cheeks when she was angry was adorable compared to her frail state from five years ago.
He suddenly tilted her chin up.
She bent slightly backward, her eyes locking with his deep, focused gaze.
Estelle instinctively swallowed.
She tried to back away, but she couldn’t break free from Dillon’s arm.
She lowered her head, panic rising in her chest as her heart raced out of control.
Her voice dropped, steady but tense. “Dillon, what are you doing?”
He caught the tremor in her voice and laughed again. “What? Can’t I be close to my wife?”
