Estelle grabbed Alison’s hand, steadying her before she could fall.
Alison had been loud just now, drawing the attention of those around them.
Soon, Timothy arrived.
Seeing that Estelle was still holding Alison, Timothy shoved her aside, pulling Alison protectively behind him.
He glared at Estelle. “What do you think you’re doing, troublemaker? Why are you picking on Alison again?”
“Idiot,” she muttered under her breath.
Timothy was furious when he heard her mock him.
After waiting a long moment and not seeing him strike Estelle, Alison was displeased.
She clung to Timothy’s arm, lowering her head in feigned innocence.
“Timothy, I’m fine. Estelle might have misunderstood my relationship with Dillon. Let me go explain it to her.”
“What’s there to explain?” Timothy shot back and rolled his eyes. “You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s this woman who’s being foolish. Don’t pay her any attention.”
“Timothy, Estelle is just jealous of how much you all dote on me. It’s nothing. Don’t be mad at her.” Alison pushed his buttons again.
This time, she succeeded in clouding Timothy’s judgment.
He scanned the room, then picked up a knife and fork from a nearby table, preparing to lunge
at Estelle.
Baxter’s face drained of color when he saw that.
Dillon, on the other hand, simply observed coldly
Baxter immediately spoke up, “Now’s not the time for you to play the hero. Go save your wife!
Dillon furrowed his brow slightly. “She can come to me for help.”
Come to him?
Baxter stared in disbelief, eyes wide open, as if he no longer recognized the person standing in front of him.
He could sense that Dillon’s feelings toward Estelle had changed, but instead of stepping up,

he was waiting for Estelle to ask for his help.
“Aren’t you afraid she’ll really get hurt?”
“She won’t,” Dillon said with certainty.
Seeing his confidence, Baxter grew curious.
“How can you be so sure?”
Dillon gave him a sharp look, clearly displeased.“Are you doubting me?”
Baxter merely smiled faintly.

He turned his gaze to Alison, softening his expression. “Alison is kind. She won’t let Timothy hurt Estelle. Besides, I’m here. If she asks me for help…”
He would make sure everyone knew that Estelle was under his protection, and from that point on, no one would dare to hurt her again.
Estelle noticed Dillon watching from the corner.
She smirked, her lips curling into a mocking smile.
If Timothy really killed her, Dillon would probably be pleased, wouldn’t he?
Just as the knife and fork in Timothy’s hands were about to slash across her face, a figure swiftly appeared, pulling her aside and successfully avoiding the blow.
“Dillon?” Timothy froze for a moment, then his dissatisfaction flared up again.
He was about to complain further when Seth and Madison walked over, followed by several bodyguards.
Seth looked at Estelle with concern. “Estelle, are you alright?”
Estelle snapped back to reality and noticed Dillon’s surprise..
Hadn’t he been acting like it wasn’t his problem just a moment ago? Why had he suddenly pulled her away?
Timothy yelled at him, “Dillon, what’s the meaning of this? Are you betraying us for this troublemaker?”
“Dillon, are you alright?” Alison asked with concern.
Dillon gave her a cold look, as if trying to figure out why she hadn’t stopped Timothy.
