Chapter 95
Dillon’s dark eyes locked onto her, filled with an unspoken depth she couldn’t understand.
Estelle shivered involuntarily and instinctively tried to pull away.
However, she was trapped in his embrace, unable to escape.
She forced a stiff smile and quietly reminded him “Dillon, stop talking nonsense. You’re drunk.”
Dillon lifted her chin and let out a light chuckle.
Did she think she could make him back off?
His eyes flashed with a sharp glint.
Then, Dillon spoke again, “If you want me to let the Lancaster family go, return my child to
me.”
Hearing him mention the child again, Estelle knew she hadn’t misheard this time.
But there was no joy in her heart.
She shook her head with a forced smile. “Isn’t your child with Alison? Are you trying to make her child an illegitimate one by not marrying her?”
Dillon frowned, confused.
They locked eyes for a moment, but he quickly averted his gaze.
Her serious expression didn’t look like she was joking.
He frowned deeper, his tone colder. “The child isn’t mine. Don’t ruin her reputation.”
Hearing him defend Alison again, Estelle couldn’t help but sneer. “Mr. Waverly, you sure are affectionate, willing to be a father to someone else’s child.”
“Estelle!” Dillon’s facial expression darkened.
Seeing him angry made Estelle smile.
“Mr. Waverly, are you lashing out because you’re embarrassed?”
Dillon took a deep breath, stood up, and released her.
He looked down at her coldly. “Don’t think you can use this method to make me let you go. Give me a child, and I’ll let the Lancaster family go. Otherwise…”
He squinted, a vague smile on his lips.
Seeing him smile, Estelle clenched her fists, her eyes reddening.

She gritted her teeth and warned, “If you dare to harm the Lancaster family, it’s all–out war then. Since I can’t deal with you, I can destroy Alison.”
“Don’t you dare!” A murderous intent flashed in Dillon’s eyes.
Facing his fury, Estelle wasn’t scared at all. In fact, she even wanted to provoke him further to drive him mad.
But unfortunately, he left.
Seeing him head upstairs, Estelle took an interest in the villa’s decor.
She couldn’t believe Dillon actually liked this style.
It was fresh and elegant–nothing like what a man would typically prefer.
Upstairs, Dillon was on a call with Lance.
Lance observed the man on the other end of the video call with curiosity, as if he had found something amusing. “You seem really angry. Who made you this mad?”
Dillon furrowed his brows and asked in a deep voice, “Are you happy seeing me like this?”
Lance awkwardly touched his nose, then chuckled. “It’s not that I’m happy, but if you’re this angry, the person must be someone pretty formidable. Did someone steal a billion–dollar deal from you?”
Before Dillon could answer, Lance quickly corrected himself. “Wait, no. You went to the charity gala tonight. Did Estelle make you this angry?”
Dillon’s face darkened even further when he heard that infuriating name again.
Lance could tell from his expression that he had guessed correctly.
It was rare to see Dillon this upset, so Lance couldn’t help but laugh.
“Is it that funny?” Dillon asked coldly.
To his surprise, Lance nodded.
“It is pretty funny. Estelle used to treat you like the world, but now she’s ignoring you. Isn’t that frustrating?”
“No,” Dillon muttered, lowering his gaze, lost in thought.
Seeing this, Lance let out another mocking laugh
‘Go ahead and keep lying to yourself. If you didn’t care about her, would you have gone to Mr. Pembroke for help? Just to get her connected with him, you spent at least 200 million, didn’t you? Are you still not going to tell her the truth?

“Once the items are ready, send them to Mr. Pembroke for inspection. Stop talking nonsense.”
After saying that, Dillon ended the call.
Looking at the disconnected video, Lance chuckled softly. He wasn’t a fool. He knew exactly what Dillon was thinking.
