Seth was momentarily stunned, but quickly regained his composure and decided to let her make her own decision.
He then went into the lab and didn’t come out until it was almost time to leave for the day.
As Estelle was about to hail a cab, her phone suddenly rang.
It was an unregistered number.
Having once been part of the Sawford family, she recognized it as Ethan’s number.
She knew exactly why he was calling.
Still, she answered the call.
As soon as the call connected, Ethan’s voice came through, bombarding her with questions.
“Estelle, why did you give the project directly to Dillon? Don’t forget we’re family. He only threatened you a bit–what does that have to do with you? Are you part of the Lancaster family now?”
Hearing his selfish words, Estelle couldn’t help but laugh.
She sighed. “Ethan, you’re still as selfish as ever, but if it weren’t for Seth, I would’ve been dead by now. So tell me, why shouldn’t I help them?”
There was a long pause on the other end of the line.
Just when she thought he was angry, Ethan spoke again. “Tell Dillon to cooperate with the Sawford family. I want to meet him–arrange a time.”
What did that mean?
Estelle frowned.
She didn’t ask Ethan directly but instead began to form her own guess.
It seemed that Dillon and the Sawford family had fallen out. He wasn’t planning to share the rights to the cancer treatment drug with them.
This was actually quite good news.
Estelle laughed. “Mr. Sawford, don’t you remember? Dillon hates me to the bone. How could he possibly listen to me? If you ask me, you’d better talk to him yourself, or you can have Alison do it.”
“You-”
Before he could finish speaking, Estelle hung up.

She turned her phone off and smiled with satisfaction.
As for the Sawford family, they couldn’t care less. She would love to see them go bankrupt. There was no way she would ever help them out.
After hanging up, she put her phone in her bag and went to the nearby billiards room to play a game of billiards to pass the time.
When she came out again, it was already dark outside.
Seth finished his work just in time and came out.
Seeing that she hadn’t left yet, he paused for a moment, and then there was a look of joy in his eyes that Estelle couldn’t quite understand.
“Why are you still here?” Seth stepped forward and asked.
Estelle shrugged helplessly. “I don’t have a car, so I was about to call a cab.”
As she reached for her phone, Seth stopped her immediately.
“This place is a bit remote, and it’s hard to get a cab. It’s also dangerous. I’ll take you home.”
“Alright,” she agreed without hesitation.
Coincidentally, she wasn’t very eager to hail a cab anyway.
Originally, Madison wanted to follow them, but a single glance from Seth made her quiet down immediately.
Then, the two of them left the lab together.
Suddenly, Estelle stopped, and the smile on her face disappeared.
Seth followed her gaze.
Sure enough, he saw Dillon standing not far away
When Dillon saw Estelle, he immediately stubbed out his cigarette and walked toward her.
Estelle lowered her head, trying to pretend she hadn’t seen him. “Let’s go.”
“Estelle, stop right there!” Dillon suddenly shouted at her.
Seeing him coming closer, Seth immediately stepped in front of Estelle, shielding her behind
him.
He glared coldly at Dillon. “Mr. Waverly—”
Dillon interrupted him coldly, “Mr. Lancaster, Estelle is still my wife. Five years ago, you hid her illness from me and lied that she was dead. I’ve chosen not to hold that against you, so please let go of her now.”
