Chapter 100.
Kaden POV.
I watch as Courtney drops the knife before she turns and walks away from the scene. I follow
after her as she walks outside and walks around the side of the clubhouse. She stops and
drops to her knees. I’m right beside her as I pull her into my arms and she sobs. Breaking
down.
“It’s over, it’s really over.” She sobs and I tighten my hold on her and I rock us back and forth.
“Yeah baby, it’s over. He can’t hurt you or Amelia again. It is done.” I tell her and we both stay silent as we sit on the grass under the night sky. After a while, she pulls away slightly and
turns to look at me.
“What do we do now?” She asks me and I know she is in shock, so I help her to understand what the plan was and where we go from here. It is always difficult to watch someone die. Even though she has done it before. Only difference is that person was never her family. Chief
was. So I know she is torn right now.
“Well, now, you take your place as pres and donna. I know you are in shock baby, we can take our time with this.” I tell her and she nods her head and kisses my lips and we just sit in
silence for a while longer.
“Can we get back? I need to hold Amelia.” She says, and I nod my head as I help her stand and hug her to my side as we walk back to the clubhouse. We enter the foyer and the club members are looking at her with awe in their gazes. Courtney is strong, and she doesn’t
realise how strong she is.
“All hail the pres.” One of the members shouts and the rest follow as they cheer. Courtney looks at me and I smile at her and she takes a shuddering breath in as she walks with her head held high. She walks to her mom and dad and they envelope her in a hug.
“You did good. Now take your place.” Caitlyn says to Courtney and Courtney looks around the room. I smile at her and I know she is overwhelmed, but she is not showing it. It is like she is
now in boss b***h mode.
“As of this moment, the clubs, and the families are one. What you know from the way things were run with Chief are the old ways. Rules set down by greedy men. You had no voices, only told what to do and when to do it. That changes now. You have all become lazy and complacent. Deals made in the dark, no more. I won’t be the only one to lead you.” Courtney

looks at me and I smirk at her.
“With me, Venom, Wolf, Katya, Havoc and, of course, Striker. We will all lead you into a better, just, and prosperous future. The other clubs and the families will look to us to lead them. Let’s show them what we are made of. The old ways died with Chief. Are you ready to walk into the future, strong, respected, and adored?” Her voice is strong and commanding.
This woman I love even more. She breaks in silence one moment and is ready to raise an
army the next.
“Aye.” I shout and the rest follow, but the women in the club stay silent. Courtney notices this.
“Ladies, I want to hear what you all think.” The men are gagged by this, but it only causes us
to chuckle. Women never had a say before. But now they will have a voice. A voice Courtney and Katya will give them.
“There are things we would like to see change. Some of us are club girls, the others are ol
ladies. We never had rights. Even the ol ladies were never shown respect. Can you tell us that
will change?” One of the women steps forward and Courtney smiles at her and walks towards
her. She offers her her hand. The woman takes it.
“We don’t live in the dark ages. Women have a voice. No matter the culture, we will give you
that voice. So yes, you will have rights, you will all be respected and if you aren’t. Even by your
ol men. You come to me and I will deal with it.” Courtney raises her voice, and I notice some of
the men wince.
“Now, as much as Chief was a traitor. He was still part of our family. We will hold a funeral for
him and he will be remembered for who he was before his greed took over. Then we move
forward as one.” Caitlyn says and everyone nods in understanding. Caitlyn should have been
the heir, but it is now Courtney.
“So, ladies, what do you say?” I ask them and the women look at their men and the first
woman steps forward.
“Aye, it’s time for a change.” She says loud and proud. The rest follow suit. I watch in awe as the three women who have been betrayed, hurt and deceived all walk together and stand side
by side as they each look over the members.
Wolf and Havoc come to my side and we stand there watching our women take centre stage
and I can feel their pride coming off them in waves like my own. These women have proven they don’t need anyone to get what they want. To get s**t done. This is for all of them.
I know Amelia will grow up being just as strong, just as capable as these women in front of

- me. She will be a force to be reckoned with. Three strong women who have single–handedly brought the MCs and the families to their knees.
Not out of fear, by their need and passion for change. I can’t wait to see what these women do next, but I know one thing: I will be by my woman’s side, no matter what. Courtney is it for me. We may have had a rocky, shitty start, but fate brought us back together and together we will stay.
The next few months will be hard, as the three of them and us navigate our way through the issues of the clubs and families. But I have always loved a challenge and so has Courtney.
I turn to Wolf, and he is smiling at his wife and daughter.
“Wolf, I want to marry your daughter. I love her with everything I have. I will keep her and Amelia safe. I know I don’t need your permission, but I’m asking anyway. Not that it would stop me.” I say to Wolf, and he chuckles and shakes his head.
“Aye, Venom, it wouldn’t stop you at all. You want to marry my girl? I have no issue with it. But it’s not me you should be asking. It’s her.” He says, raising his chin to Caitlyn, who is glaring at me and I gulp. s**t.
“Good luck and if you die, I already have a beautiful eulogy written out for you for your funeral. Well, after we find all the pieces of you, that is,” Havoc says as he walks away laughing. f*****g asshole.
“You been planning my funeral for that long fucker?” I ask as he turns and makes a kissy face at me as he walks backwards, laughing. I swear if he wasn’t like my brother, I would have killed him.
“No time like the present.” Please god let me live through this.
