Chapter 104.
Kaden POV.
I wake up to Courtney, whimpering in her sleep. I pull her closer to me and try to calm her
down. But it’s not working. If anything, it is making her worse. I try to wake her up.
“No,” she mumbles when she fights with me and I pin her down. When she screams Amelia!
She jolts up and I scramble back as she looks around frantically, the sweat glistening on her
chest. She moves off the bed and runs to the crib.
“Courtney, what’s wrong?” I ask, panicked as I move behind her and she sobs as she lifts up our sleeping daughter into her arms and holds her tight to her chest.
I wrap my arms around her, and she breaks down. She is shaking and I don’t say anything not
until she calms down.
“We need to kill him, Kaden. We need to kill him before he comes for her.” She stutters in fear
and I look from her to Amelia and back again.
“Who? What happened in your dream, baby? It was just a nightmare.” I say as I try to soothe
her when she shakes her head at me.
“Storm came here, he poisoned you all, he drugged me and handed Amelia to someone and
then… then I woke up.” She sobs harder and I tighten my hold on her, the rage burning into my
soul. He would never dare to do anything like this. But I know I won’t be able to convince her of
that.
“Ok, look, she is safe. I’m safe. You are safe. We are all safe.” I try to tell her, but she shakes her head. I see it in her. The resolve clicks into place and she walks out of my arms, still clutching Amelia to her chest. I follow behind her as she leaves the bedroom and down the
stairs to the sitting room.
It is early hours, and Richie is awake. Does that man ever sleep? I’m starting to think he a
vampire or some s**t.
“Courtney, what happened?” Richie asks and she shakes her head and I look at him and he knows just from the look in my eyes.
“We need to find Storm and now. Where is he?” Courtney says and Richie looks from me to
her.
“He is at your father’s clubhouse. What’s going on?” He asks and Courtney tells him about her

dream and Richie looks pissed.
“What do you want to do?” I ask her, and she looks down at Amelia before she looks up at me again.
“I want him dead. He can’t be trusted. I don’t care if he is the Bianchi heir, he is a threat to me, us, our daughter. We need to act. I want him killed. Please Kaden, I want him dead. I can’t lose her.” Her voice breaks, and I hug her again and kiss her head.
“Ok, baby, he will die. But you will stay here.” She shakes her head.
“No, I need to be there. I can’t let him win, Kaden, I just can’t. We have too much to lose now. He said I would be his and I know he meant it. That dream was not a dream it was like a warning. Please, he needs to die, he just needs to die.” Courtney breaks down again and I nod my head and shush her when I see Wolf and Caitlyn walk out of the one of the rooms giggling like teenagers, straightening their clothes. Then they stop and rush to where we are standing.
“What happened?” Caitlyn asks as Courtney moves from me to her momma and sobs onto
her shoulder.
“Storm happened. She had a nightmare.” I tell them what happened and Caitlyn looks enraged and Wolf looks ready to kill someone.
“Am I being silly?” Courtney asks just as Wolf answers.
“No, what do you want to do, darlin?” He asks her and I smile, knowing he will do what is right
to protect his daughter and granddaughter the same as I will.
“I want him dead.” Is all she says and Caitlyn disengages and turns and walks away.
“Where are you going?” Wolf calls after her and she shouts over her shoulder.
“Her wish is my command. Don’t wait up baby, I will be back later.” She walks out and Wolf
follows after her, calling her name. I chuckle and Courtney relaxes.
“Come on baby, let’s go back to bed.” I say to her, and she nods her head as I lead her back to
our room. I watch as she places Amelia back down before she walks to the closet and
rummages around before returning with her gun and places it under her pillow.
“He can’t get to you, baby. Your momma is going to take care of it.” I say as I pull her into my
arms and she is still shaking. I kiss her head and just hold her to my body.
“I will believe it when I know he is dead. I have to see it with my own eyes.” She mumbles
before she goes quiet and I watch her sleep. My eyes grow heavy and I fall asleep beside my
woman. I wake up to Courtney, nursing Amelia beside me. I smile as I sit up and kiss my

woman before I kiss my daughter. Amelia looks at me and frowns.
“Oh ok, I’m sorry for disturbing you princess.” I say with a chuckle and she closes her eyes and
opens them as she nurses.
“She is eating more. I am starting to feel like a cow,” Courtney says with a chuckle, and I
smile.
“A beautiful cow.” I say and she glares at me and I chuckle as I climb out of bed and jog towards the bathroom as a pillow hits my back.
“Your daddy is a big meany, yes, he is.” I hear her say with a chuckle. It is like that nightmare didn’t happen at all. I shower and leave the bathroom with a towel around my waist. I just
watch as both my girls are locked in a staring contest.
“Who is the most beautiful girl in the world? You are, yes you are.” I smile when Courtney
gasps and I move closer.
“She just smiled, Kaden. She just smiled. Look.” I watch as Amelia blinks before turning her
head to me and I smile at her and she smiles. Oh, my god.
She huffs, and then it happens. A giggle. Oh wow. That little sound brings me to my knees as I
watch her with her mom.
I watch in awe as Amelia kicks her legs and waves her fists in the air and I chuckle just as my phone rings. I grab it and see it’s Snake calling me. Snake is Wolf’s VP.
“Yeah,” I answer.
“Venom, Wolf, and Striker are here looking for Storm. They have him. They are on their way back to you. What is going on?” He asks and I fill him in and he growls.
“If I had known, I would have killed him myself. He has been undermining everything here, and
I caught him talking to someone about getting into a compound.” Son of a …
“Thanks man, I will let my guys know here. Everything ok other than that?” I ask, and Snake
sighs.
“Yeah, it’s all good here, brother. See you soon.” He says and I hang up. I look at Courtney and I
know she heard the conversation.
“He was planning on coming here, wasn’t he?” she asks and I sigh, nodding my head.
“Your momma and dad are bringing him here. What do you what to do with him?” I ask her
and she looks down at Amelia.

“We need to keep her safe, so I will do what I should have done long ago.” She says and I wait
for her to continue.
“I’ll kill him. Momma knows this, that is why she is bringing him back here. She knows I will
want to be the one to end him. I will for her, for you, for us.”
