Book 2 Chapter 3.
Amelia POV.
The movie night was a success. Well, it always is. All three of us and Beau snuggled down in the theatre room with blankets, pillows, our goodies and had a movie marathon. I woke up once again, sandwiched between them both. I have popcorn in my hair and is that … Jesus wept. I have a Haribo stuck to my cheek. Gross.
“Come on, rise and shine, sleepyheads.” I say as I wake the terrible two up. Beau is on his back, snoring up a storm. This dog is so lazy, all he does is sleep. Well, not today buddy boy, he is going out.
“Five more minutes. Please Lia, it’s Sunday and we need to sleep,” Roman says as he turns in his recliner chair and I chuckle at him. I look at Casey and she is drooling in her sleep. Her curly black hair is a mess but whatever, they are comfortable.
I grab my blanket and pillow and begin to cleanup the mess. Once I have cleaned up without disturbing them too much, I leave the room with Beau behind me.
Walking up the stairs towards the utility room. I place my blanket in the washer. I spilled soda on it and it needs a wash. May as well check for other laundry and get a load on.
“You want to go out, boy?” I ask Beau, who is doing the pee dance and whining. I chuckle as I jog to the back patio doors and open them to let him out. He looks at me like I have offended him and shove him outside. See, lazy ass.
Heading upstairs, the mansion is quiet. Must be early. I can never lie in. I like to be doing stuff even on my days off. Tomorrow I have school and I’m not looking forward to it.
I don’t know anyone who likes going to school and I’m one of them. I don’t have many friends because I know the majority of people only want to get close to me because of who I am. So I tend to keep myself to myself. I’m fine with that. I have plenty of friends in the clubs and I
simply don’t have room for more.
I head into my room and grab my laundry basket and then hit the twin’s rooms. Casey’s room is spotless. I expect nothing less from her as I grab her dirty clothes and place them in my
basket before I walk into Roman’s room. I gag. Jesus, what the f**k died in here?
I walk to the drapes and open them and open his window. Taking in the state of the room, no, I am not even going to touch this place. He has trash on his computer desk. The floor is littered with dirty clothes. His bed is a mess and I am not going into his bathroom.

But I do anyway. His laundry basket is empty, shocker. All his dirty laundry is on the bastard
floor. I groan and pick it up and take it out. No point in going in to my parent’s room. I learnt that lesson when I was little and I was scarred for life.
Catching your parents in the act is enough to damage any innocent soul. I shudder at the
memory.
Once I have sorted the laundry and turned the machines on. I make a start on my coffee and getting Beau’s breakfast ready. While Beau is having his breakfast, I head back to my room and have a shower and get dressed for the day.
Once I’m clean and free of Haribo and popcorn, I dress in my shorts and vest top. It is a nice day and no better day than to take his lazy ass for his walk. I grab my phone and check my messages and socials and I have a friend request.
I click on it and I nearly spit my coffee out. Leo Michaels wants to be your friend. Ok, he is definitely stalking me.
Do I accept him? Or do I just leave it sitting there like the other seventy–three requests?
I close the phone and place it in my back pocket and leave my room and head back downstairs. Beau is laying down and I shake my head at him. I step over him and head into the utility room, and grab his collar and leash. The washer will be finished soon. I will send a message to mom and tell her to just put it in the dryer.
I always help around the mansion, even though we don’t need to. I do because I like to help, hence why I always do stuff with the twins. They are a handful and can be ruthless. So I help with them. After all, I’m their big sister and I love them, but god they are relentless when they
want something.
“Don’t pretend to be sleeping, soft ass. I can see your eyes open. Come on, you big lump. Let’s go for a walk.” I say to him as I lift his head and slip the collar on before I attach his leash. Please god I don’t want to have to drag him.
Beau stands up and I smile as I grab my shades, keys, and poop bags. See responsible. I walk with Beau to the front door and pass the guards. They say good morning and I respond as I
walk down the path alongside the drive to the gate and out.
I walk with Beau beside me as we walk towards the park. I don’t let him off his leash even
though I know he has excellent recall. I’m not worried he would run off, no quite the opposite. He will just sit in the middle of the path or lay down and then there is no moving him.
We walk past the soccer fields and see some kids training. But I pay them no mind and keep

moving.
“Lia!” I stop and look around and my eyes land on the beef cake that is jogging towards me in a soccer jersey and shorts. Lord have mercy.
“Oh hey Lea,” I say as Beau moves in front of me and sits his ass down in front of me.
“What are the chances I would see you here, and with a gorgeous massive dog.” Leo says and I shift on my feet. Why am I seeing him everywhere?
“Yeah, well, I have to get going.” I say, pulling on the leash to get away as fast as possible.
“I sent you a friend request. I’m not a stalker or anything. I just would like to be friends.” Well s**t, now I can’t say I didn’t see it.
“Sure you’re not. I mean, you don’t know me, yet you know my full name. You just seem to pop up everywhere I go and send me a friend request. So yeah, I’m thinking stalker.” I say, and he smiles at me before he laughs.
“Amelia.” I turn and look and see Ivan as he barrels into me, giving me a hug. I chuckle as I hug him back. Ivan is fifteen and is the son of uncle Havoc and aunty Katya.
“You’re all sweaty. I didn’t know you played soccer?” I say to Ivan and he blushes and nods his head before he makes a fuss over Beau.
“Yeah, well, Leo here is our assistant coach. He is really good. Anyway, gotta go and run drills. See you later.” Ivan waves as he runs back and begins his warm up.
“Better get back to it. Nice to see you again Lia. See you around, sweet cheeks.” He says, giving me a wink and I blush hard as I walk away, not looking back. God, why am I so awkward around him? This is going to be torture. I need to speak to uncle Richie and see what he can dig up on him. Better to be safe.
Looks like I may have to accept his friend request now. f**k my life.
