Book 2 Chapter 4.
Amelia POV.
As soon as I walked in the front door. I could hear my mom and dad in the kitchen. I removed Beau’s leash and collar and he walked off to his bed. I walked into the kitchen and popped my head in on my way to the utility room to hang up the collar and leash.
I also check the washer and see mom had put the clothes in the dryer. I did forget to text her
with the shock of seeing Leo again. Which reminds me. I need to see uncle Richie. I know he will be at the clubhouse. I better get going.
“Hey baby, did you have a good walk with the slobber monster? Thank you for doing the
laundry. I really appreciate it.” Mom says as she walks towards me and kisses my cheek and I
chuckle at her.
“No problem. Yeah, it is a nice day. Oh, I saw Ivan in the park. I didn’t know he played soccer.” I
say to her and she smiles and chuckles.
“Yeah, he is pretty good, from what Havoc tells us. I was thinking about getting Roman
involved.” She says and I snort on a laugh.
“Yeah, good luck getting him up on a Sunday morning and away from his gaming.” I tell her
and she chuckles, knowing I’m right.
The terrible two are lazy kids on a weekend. Especially on a Sunday. They will sleep into until
at least noon. Then start their reign of terror until bedtime.
“Speaking of them, are they still sleeping in the theatre room?” I ask her just as dad places a
coffee in my hand and kisses my cheek.
“No, I kicked them out and they are both in bed.” He says and I shake my head at this. Lazy
fuckers.
“Ok, well, I need to head out soon. I have to go to the clubhouse.” I tell them both and they
share a look. Like they can’t believe what I am saying.
“Everything ok?” Mom asks me and I sigh but nod my head. She knows I don’t spend much
time there unless it is absolutely necessary.
It’s not that I don’t like going there or anything. I have tried to step away from the whole MC and mafia princess thing. Hence why I work and not rely on living off my parents. I’m
independent and do my own thing.

“Yeah, mom. Nothing to worry about. Just need to see uncle Richie about something. I will be
back soon. Love you both.” I say before I drain my coffee and walk out to get into my car.
I leave the mansion grounds and drive through town to get to the clubhouse. I know dad will
be here later on with mom and the twins when they get up. But I need them not to worry about
- me. Until I know who Leo Michaels is. Then I will tell them.
I pull up into the parking lot outside of the clubhouse. I notice the bikes parked and some of
the members working and some of the women sunning themselves. I shut the engine off and
leave the car. Locking it up as I walk up the steps and greet the members as I walk past them.
I pull the door open and walk inside. The inside is clean, the smell of fresh leather and
detergent hits me. The members aren’t animals. They look after the clubhouse. I know mom
would gut them if they didn’t. She likes everything tidy, well unless you are Roman.
“Hey sweetie, what brings you here?” Uncle Fabio asks and I smile as I walk to him and kiss
his cheek and give him a hug. He is getting on in years now, but he loves being here.
“I need to see uncle Richie. How are you doing?” I say to him and he smiles at me as I sit next
to him.
“Better, now that I’ve seen my favourite girl. What’s going on that you need to see, Richie?” I
could always tell uncle Fabio everything and even if I didn’t, he always knew.
“Don’t let Casey hear you say that.” I chuckle before I continue. “There is this guy. I have been
seeing him everywhere and something doesn’t feel right.” I tell him and the playfulness has gone in his eyes and he nods his head.
“Ok, sweetheart. Is this feeling in your gut?” He asks and I nod my head and he hums before
he clicks his tongue.
“Ok, sweetie, go and find Richie, and I’m sure he will help you. If you need me, you know where
I am,” he says, and I kiss his cheek once more and stand up.
“I know, and thank you, love you, uncle Fabio.” I say and he winks at me before I walk off to
find uncle Richie. I round the corner and head to the stairs that lead up to the surveillance
room. Just as I round the corner, I see Colby walking towards me.
Colby is twenty years old. Uncle Richie didn’t know about him until Colby was five years old.
When his mother sadly passed away and the authorities got in touch. He has been here ever
since.
“Hey, Lia. What are you doing here?” Colby asks as he hugs me and I hug him back.

“I need to see your ol man.” I say to him and he looks at me with suspicion.
“Anything I need to worry about?” He asks, and I smile at him before I chuckle and shake my
head.
“Not unless you want him to know how many notches you have on your bedpost, then I would say no,” I say, and Colby narrows his eyes at me.
“What makes you think I don’t already know of my son’s sexcapades?” We both turn and I smile, seeing uncle Richie leaning against the open door.
“Uncle Richie.” I take off and hug him, and he chuckles as he hugs me back before he kisses my head.
“Amelia. What can I help you with?” Uncle Richie asks, and I look at Colby, or where Colby was knowing he has hightailed it out. p***y.
“I need your help to find information on someone for me. Something feels off with him.” I say and he looks at me with an amused look on his face.
“Not like that. I’m not interested in him in that way. I can’t put my finger on it. Can you help me?” I ask him and he nods his head and turns and I follow him in to the surveillance room. I close the door and sit down at the desk and uncle Richie sits in front of the computer monitor.
“Ok, tell me everything.” He says, and so I do. I tell him about the time in the tattoo shop, to seeing in the store then again this morning and the friend request. Uncle Richie is nodding and I hand him my phone and he takes it and scrolls through my social media and finds the name and turns to the computer and gets to work.
“Leonardo Michaels, twenty–two years old, from Moab Utah. Mother is called Corinne Michaels. Father is not known. He moved out here six months ago. His mother Corinne died when he was a kid and he was in foster care.” I listen to the information.
“Does it say why he is here?” I ask and all I can hear is the clicking of the keyboard.
“Just that he is here to settle down. He helps with the junior soccer and football teams. He doesn’t have any family alive that I can see. Maybe he is here looking for his dad?” Hmmmm,
something isn’t adding up.
“What are you thinking Lia?” Uncle Richie asks me, and I lean back in the chair.
“That I need to be cautious around him. Something is off, like really off. If he is from Utah and you think he is looking for his father? Shouldn’t he be looking in Utah? I need you to dig deeper into this. Search his mom. I have a feeling there is more to Leo Michaels than he wants me to
