Kaden POV.
I really don’t like this idea at all. Anything could happen when we leave here. I don’t think Courtney completely understands the danger she is in. Especially now that Wolf has confirmed that some of the Brothers Of Mayhem have been seen around town.
pull my phone from my cut and call my VP. Havoc answers on the third ring and all I can hear is the moaning coming from the latest b***h he is f*****g.
“Venom, what is it?” He asks, grunting, and I sigh. This is nothing new for him. He is a dog in heat all the damn time.
“Look, stop f*****g the b***h and get to the chapel. I need you all to hear this. So f*****g move it and don’t answer the phone to me like this again.” I say and he groans and the b***h he is with screams. I hear him telling her to clean up and leave.
“Sorry man, you caught me at a bad time. I’m getting dressed now. Give me a few.” He says and I hang up. Asshole! We will be having words when I get back. It seems while I’ve been gone, he has turned my clubhouse into a damn brothel.
A few minutes go by and my phone rings. I answer it.
“Right, are you all there? Can you hear me?” I ask and my crew say, aye. Good.
“Ok, you all know where I have been and why I had to leave. Well, I found them. I am moving them tomorrow to get her to Chief. I don’t like this at all, but this is what she wants to do and, according to Wolf, some of the Mayhem brothers have been spotted near town. So I need Havoc, Danger, Drift and War to meet up with us en route to Chief.” I say to them and they all are listening.
“Where did you find them?” War, he is my Enforcer, asks and I sigh.
“She was under my nose the entire time until I f****d up.” I say, and they are silent. They knew about Courtney, and each of them beat my ass when I told them what happened.
“Courtney is Chief’s family? Well, isn’t that just swell! What do you think Chief will do when he finds out what you did?” Danger my Sgt At Arms says and I nod my head knowing exactly what he will do, probably the same thing he will do to Wolf when he finds out what he did to his granddaughter.
“I know and I will take it, lets not forget what Chloe did. She is more to blame in this than I am.

But still, I f****d up even worse. Courtney is pregnant with my baby.” I say and they all groan.
“For f**k’s sake Venom, you left her to deal with this on her own?” Drift, who is my treasurer, says and I sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose as I lay down on my bed.
“That’s not all. Her mom, Chief’s granddaughter, died on Christmas day. Wolf is Courtney’s dad. So yeah, this is all kinds of f****d up.” I say they are silent. Well, that is a first.
“Katie had a daughter?” Now I am confused. How does Drift know who Katie is?
“How do you know Katie? She changed her name to Caitlyn. Drift, how do you know her?” I ask
and he sighs.
“Katie was a friend growing up. We went to the same school and my parents moved to a
different state and I joined your father. God, she was such a kind and bubbly girl. How did she
die?” He asks, and I can hear his voice breaking.
“Stage 4 breast cancer. I’m sorry Drift. But we need to protect her daughter and unborn
grandchild. My child. Courtney has a pre–natal appointment in the morning and I will be going
with her and Storm, then we will leave to meet y’all before we ride to Chief’s territory. Any news
on the Brothers Of Mayhem? Any sightings in our town?” I ask, praying there hasn’t been.
“Yeah there has. It would seem they are watching every club that is close to Chief. So I take it
they are looking for your girl and her mom?” Havoc says and I nod my head.
“Yeah, the only thing we have the advantage of is that no one knew what Caitlyn or Courtney
looked like. Plus the fact that they moved often. Caitlyn knew there was danger out there and
kept her daughter hidden from it.” I tell them and they all mumble their agreement.
“What about Chloe?” War asks and I sigh heavily.
“She is nothing to me. I delivered her to her father and imagine the surprise I got when
Courtney was here. I had no idea that Wolf was her father. Chloe has been causing drama for
the last two days since Courtney has been here. Hell, Courtney knocked Chloe’s ass out
before. The only ones who know about this move are me, Courtney, Wolf, and Storm, and now
you guys. The fewer people who know, the better. So no, Chloe will not know a damn thing and
if she somehow finds out, she will be dealt with.” I say, and I don’t like hurting women, but
Courtney and our baby’s safety in this move is paramount.
We come up with a plan, and I yawn. I need to get some sleep. We have a long drive ahead of
us tomorrow.
I will call the crew before we leave the hospital and tell them we are on our way and will meet
them in the next state at the service station. From there, they will escort us to Chief.

I will also call Chief to tell him we are on the way to him and have some of his guys meet us to add to the convoy of protection for Courtney. She will take her momma’s truck as I can’t have her on the back of my bike being as pregnant as she is and even if she could, I know she wouldn’t because I had her sister on the back, even though there was nothing between me and
Chloe.
“Ok boys, get some sleep and await my call tomorrow. Oh and Havoc, no more bitches in the clubhouse. You know we don’t do that.” I tell him and the others chuckle and he groans out.
“I know, but she was too hot and ready and the clubhouse was closer.” He sulks, but he will get a beating when I get my girl and our baby to safety.
“No more. You, like the other single brother’s know the rules. Unless you make her your ole lady.” I say to him and he scoffs.
“Why buy the cow when I get the milk for free? No thanks, I like being single and ready to
mingle.” He says, and I roll my eyes.
“Well mingle else where. Jesus, I don’t need the ole ladies and girlfriends breathing down my
neck.” I tell him and the others chuckle.
We did have club girls until they caused drama with the wives and girlfriends. One of the wives shot one of them for trying it on with her husband and that was when I decided to get rid of the girls to keep the peace. What the men do outside of the club is their business. But don’t bring it to the club.
After I hang up, I change quickly and climb into bed. Tomorrow is going to be a long ass day
and I have to be ready for every eventuality.
