Chapter 52.
Courtney POV.
I feel bile rise in my throat and throw up in the flower bed. I hold my hand back to stop my dad
and Kaden from coming forward.
Once I have finished being sick, I stand and wipe my mouth with the back of my hand and
pant to control my breathing. I turn my head to the white box with the pink bow.
I straighten up and stagger slightly towards it and Kaden and dad both grab my arms to
steady me.
“I’m fine,” I say as I stand tall and move towards the box. I bend down and lift the lid slowly.
Inside the box is something wrapped in pink tissue paper. I rip the paper apart and feel more bile rising. I stagger back as Kaden walks closer.
“Kaden, don’t.” But it’s too late. He has lifted the lacy white teddy out of the box, barely
touching it, and growls as he throws it back inside the box.
“f**k!” he shouts as he kicks the box and the lacy monstrosity flies out with a thong and lands
on the rosebush.
“I’m going to f*****g kill him.” Kaden roars and I look up at the sky and shake my head.
“He is doing it to get a reaction. Who bought the box?” I ask, and my dad steps forward.
“A courier service. I had to bloody sign for it.” He tells me and I shake my head and I’m pissed
off. Grim is trying to get into our heads with this bullshit. He knows what he is doing, the sly
fox.
“Kaden, this is what he wants. To get under our skin and we are not going to let that happen. He is playing mind games and right now you are letting him win.” I say to him as I walk closer to him when he turns to face me and I see the anger in his eyes. He lifts me up and kisses me. Staking his claim, and walks with me back inside the clubhouse. Does he not care that I have
just threw up?
“You are mine, not his, mine.” He says, and I nod my head.
“Yours, only yours. Don’t let him get in your head.” I say to him as I hug him.
“What do you want me to do with this?” my dad says and Kaden stops walking and before I
can answer he does it for me.

Chapter 52.
“Burn it, I need to take care of my woman. You can handle the club for the time being.” Kaden then storms off with me up the stirs and drops me on the bed and is on me like white on rice.
He kisses me hungrily, possessively, as he removes my clothes and I do the same to him. He
enters me in one shift move and I moan out.
“Easy,” I say to him as he moves, harder and faster, biting my collar bone, neck and leaving
kisses and hickeys on my skin.
My nails rake down his back as I moan as he grunts, and the feeling starts to build.
“Your. Mine!” He says and I nod my head, just holding onto him for dear life.
“Who do you belong to, Courtney? Who owns this p***y, this heart?” He says with a moan and
I’m falling over the edge with a scream as I come.
“YOU!” I shout when he falls himself. But he isn’t done with me yet. He pulls out and lifts me
once more to straddle him and I move on him. Both panting and groaning as I move at my
pace.
Feeling him everywhere inside of me, all around me. Kaden is mine and I am his.
“f**k baby, you feel amazing. I’m one lucky son of a b***h. I love you Courtney.” He pulls me
down, my belly touching his abs as he kisses me, but I don’t stop moving. Grinding my hips,
feeling full with him buried deep inside of me.
The feeling is building again as I climb higher, ready to freefall over the edge, taking Kaden
with me.
“Kaden, f**k. I’m coming.” I moan as my movements become jittery.
“Come baby, let me feel you.” I scream his name, throwing my head back as the orgasm rocks
through me. I’m breathless as the shockwaves hit me as I lay limp on his chest. He is still
inside of me.
“I love you Courtney.” He mumbles against my shoulder as he kisses it, and I pant, trying to calm down my breathing.
“I love you too, Kaden. I’m yours, we are yours. Not his, yours.” I say to him as I lift my head to
look into his eyes and he smiles softly at me before she kisses me again. Climbing off of him,
I lay beside him before I snuggle into his side.
His fingers move lazily up my spine and I just watch him. He is beautiful, he always was.
“Courtney, baby, you need to rest. Sleep. No one will get to you or our daughter. I promise you
that now.” He says to me before he rubs his palm over my growing bump and bean kicks

softly, and I smile as my eyes begin to close.
I wake alone, reaching for Kaden, and his side of the bed is empty and cold. I sit up and look
around the room. It is dark outside and I leave the bed and head to the bathroom. I do my
business and quickly shower before throwing on my shirts and t–shirt.
I pull my long red hair into a messy bun on top of my head and leave the room in search of not only my man, but my dad and food.
My phone rings in my hand and I look at the number, and it’s withheld. I silence the call. As I make my way down the stairs and head towards the dining room when the phone rings again.
Another withheld number. I answer the call. Against my better judgement. Usually a s**m
caller. I’m ready to tell them to f**k off.
“Hello.” I say as I smile, seeing Kaden and my dad. They both look at me and smile. Kaden stands to come to my side. Food is nearly ready, I can smell the roast chicken and my mouth
waters.
“Hello Courtney. You are such a clever girl, but you will never find me. In fact, I will find you. I know where you are. I know what you look like.” The man says. I shiver and my heart stops. My eyes widen.
“Who are you?” I say, and Kaden looks at me in confusion that my voice is harder than usual.
The man chuckles, and it makes me shiver. It sounds sinister, crazed. This is no doubt the
mole.
“I’m hurt that you don’t know me. We do know each other. Oh you’re welcome by the way. Did you get my little gifts I left for you in the prison? I was hoping to see you that night, but you were too busy f*****g that cheater. I’m disappointed in you Courtney, I thought you had more class and integrity than that. But never mind, those bitches are now dead.” He laughs and I feel the colour drain from my face.
“Tell me your name.” I say with a growl. He stops laughing.
“No, you will see me again soon enough. When you finally realise who I am, it will be too late. I am the only one that stands between you and Grim. Wouldn’t want anything to happen to you or your daughter now, would we?” The son of a b***h.
“Don’t you dare threaten me and my daughter? I will find out who you are and I will take great pleasure in ripping you limb from limb!” I say with a laugh of my own, and he chuckles.
“There she is, the Spitfire I know you are. Don’t be surprised, Courtney. I know all about you.

Chapter 52.
You see, I have been watching you for a while now. Long before your daddy found you and your momma. Anyway, got to go. Chief needs me. Bye, beautiful, see you again real soon.” He hangs up and I drop the phone from my hand and it smashes on the floor.
Just like my composure, my sanity, and my soul. He is with my grandpa. The tears leave my eyes and Kaden pulls me into his arms and my dad is bedside me.
I think I know who it is. I can picture him. His cocky swagger, his cheeky smile, his eyes, face, everything. He is working for Grim. Sleeping with Chloe. The father to Chloe’s dead child. But I won’t show my hand just yet. Not until I am absolutely sure. No one will know this, only me.
I need to catch him myself. He is right. He is the only one in between me and Grim. But I have an advantage over him. Chloe is not dead. But he will be, and soon. So will his family. I will use them like he is using mine. An eye for an eye. He will know pain like no other.
You have come after the wrong person. You have tried to attack my family. You have betrayed
my father, my grandpa.
