Chapter 63.
Kaden POV.
My head is pounding, and my skin feels burnt. I groan as I move my arms and lift myself up
into a seated position. I look around and squint, shielding my eyes with my hand from the
blazing sun.
I look around and the SUV is gone. My eyes widen. Courtney!
“Fabio, Richie.” I stand staggering as I move to them and shake them. They groan and open
their eyes as I scan the area. Everyone is here, apart from Wolf! That mother fucker!
“What happened?” Fabio asks with a groan and I stand up and look around once more and see
the other SUV, van and some of the bikes.
“Wolf betrayed us, that’s what happened. He has taken Courtney. So that tells me he is the
other f*****g mole?” I clutch my hair and scream as I squat down.
“How did we miss this?” I shout as I feel nothing but pure hatred. Wolf needs to pay for this.
Did Courtney know? No, that’s stupid. Courtney would never go along with it. She has worked
too hard and stressed herself out to set everything up.
I stand and stalk towards one of the bikes. I straddle the bike and turn it on. I look at Fabio
and Richie who are helping the other’s up.
“Meet me at the clubhouse. I need answers.” I say as I ride away, heading back to the
clubhouse. I left my phone in the clubhouse not thinking I would need it, well that was a
f*****g rookie mistake.
I dodge and weave through traffic to get back faster, breaking the speed limit and running red lights. I make it back in no time. I shut off the bike and climb off before running into the
clubhouse. Ignoring the confused looks as I take the stairs two at a time and jog to our
bedroom.
The phone is there and I grab it and dial Wolf’s number, but it goes to voicemail. I try Courtney’s number and hers rings. Come on, baby, pick up. Then it goes to voicemail.
“Courtney baby, call me when you get this. Let me know you’re safe.” I say before I end the
call. I also send a text message to her and now I need to find her.
I walk back out of the room and head downstairs. The members are all watching me as I stop in my tracks. My phone rings and I answer it without checking the number.

“Pres, we had a situation here last night.” War tells me and I groan out, what now?
“Tell me.” I say, not in the mood. My girl is missing and I need to find her.
“You won’t believe who called me.”
“Who? War I don’t have time for your games. Courtney is missing, and so is Wolf. So spit it f*****g out!” I snap at him and the members here jump up, and I know they are now listening.
“Storm called me. He has Wolf and Courtney with him. According to him, there is more happening than we first thought. He is the mole, but he was planted by Chief and Wolf.” My eyes widen and the betrayal hits me hard.
“What? Did you just say Chief planted Storm with Grim and Wolf knew about it?” I say as the anger turns into blinding hot rage in my veins and I feel like I will burn the world down.
“Yeah, Chief needed an inside man, and he knew who Storm was. Chief knew along. Pres,
what do we do?” War asks and I feel like I’m about to drop.
“Where are they?” I ask nothing else matters right now. I need to know Courtney is safe. I will deal with Chief and the rest of them when I get her back. How could he do this? I know he
wanted eyes on Grim, but then to have put Courtney in the middle of it all.
That old man is beyond a f*****g joke. How could he do this? I know he is not just a pres but a don as well. But this has to stop. But Wolf should have said something instead of letting Courtney do all of this.
Courtney is going to be devastated when she finds out that not only her dad and a man she considered a friend have betrayed her, but her grandpa too. She is going to lose it, and I wouldn’t blame her if she cut ties with them all after this. Or she goes on a killing spree and
ends them all.
“California. Wolf has a beach house out there. I traced the call. That is where they are. Pres,
what do you want us to do?” War asks, and I smirk.
“Mount up. We ride out to Cali. I’m getting her back. They may think they are doing this to protect her, but I know Courtney she won’t see it like that. Neither do I. I want everyone ready to ride out in the next two hours. s**t. Courtney made a deal with Ivanov to deliver Storm and
Chloe. But if Storm is working for Chief, then that deal is null and void.” I say and War sighs.
“Apparently, Ivanov was in on this plan. Chief had already informed him.” Well, s**t! Didn’t anyone think to tell me and Courtney? No, they have made plans without considering us in the
slightest. f*****g assholes.

“Just great. Anything else?” I say as the rumble of bikes enters my ears and I walk to the front door and see Fabio, Richie, and the rest.
“No, we will see you in two hours. Be ready, pres, this is going to be a long ride.” War says before he ends the call. Fabio, Richie, and the rest look pissed.
“Office, now.” I say as I walk to the office. Looks like I’m in charge.
“Storm and Wolf are working with Chief. Apparently Ivanov is on this too. Wolf and Storm
kidnapped Courtney to protect her. They are currently in California in Wolf’s beach house. We
are riding out in two hours to get her back. Fabio, did you know any of this?” I ask him and he
looks shocked and shakes his head.
“I swear I didn’t. Chief would have told me if this is what he was planning. So I can’t say for
sure. I agree. We ride out to Cali and get some answers. What about Grim?” He asks and I go
to answer when the office phone rings.
I answer it.
“Hello, president Kaden Venom Frost speaking.”
“Hello Venom. It’s Ivanov. I was hoping to speak to Courtney. Where is she?” He asks and I
growl down the line.
“You know damn well where she is. Don’t play f*****g games with me. What is this plan that I was not told about?” I snap and he chuckles.
“We all want the same thing. Grim and his crew dead. So you know the truth now that Storm was acting on Chief’s orders? No matter. I feel awful having to deceive Courtney like that. But we were being watched. My spies have told me that some of Grim’s men were watching from a far. Storm and Wolf had to act. Grim wants Courtney. We all know this. So what happens when you remove the target?” He says and my teeth grind so hard they may just snap.
“Grim will come looking for her.” I say, and he chuckles.
“Da, when that happens, and he learns Storm has betrayed him, Grim will be left with no other choice than to come out of his shitty clubhouse and search for her.” He says and I chuckle.
“That gives us the advantage to go in and get Chief and the rest of them out. While Grim is busy looking for Courtney. We attack the remaining warehouse and clubhouse. Killing his crew one by one.” I say and he chuckles, too.
“Very good. You see, this was always the plan. Chief was never going to use Courtney. But since grim has taken a liking to her, we had to act quickly. We can’t have the heiress in danger.

Storm and Wolf will protect her. We need to concentrate our efforts on Grim.” He says, and I shake my head at his words.
“No, I think there is more to this. Storm has shown his interest in Courtney from the beginning. He told her he was the only one in between her and Grim. I still think Storm is going rogue. I wouldn’t put it past him. He wants Courtney, and you are all too blind to see it.” I tell him and
Ivanov goes silent.
“You think Strom will double cross us? That he would betray Chief and Wolf to get Courtney?”
He asks, his voice steady, but there is a hint of concern in his tone.
“Yeah, I do. He told Courtney he has watched her from afar. Yet he never told Wolf or Chief
where she was. So you tell me if he isn’t going to double–cross you. Because right now, Storm
is a law to himself. I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to kill Wolf and takes Courtney again. So
this plan you have all come up with. It’s bullshit. So I’m letting you know now. Anything
happens to my woman and child. I will come after every f*****g single one of you.” I spit at
him and he goes silent once more.
“Don’t threaten me, boy, it would be unwise.” He snarls back and I chuckle darkly.
“Oh, that’s not a threat. That’s a f*****g promise.”
