Richie and Fabio were told to release false news, ensuring it got back to Chief that both Courtney and Amelia were both killed. All the while, we smuggled both Courtney and Amelia to safety. Safety being to Katya. I hated the idea that I needed to leave them both so I can act like the grieving boyfriend and father. So I won’t be. Before I left to find Courtney, I withdrew my club’s allegiance with Chief. So he can’t do s**t.
But we need to make this believable. We all have our roles to play in this and we need to be
convincing so that Chief doesn’t suspect a damn thing. It is taking everything in me to not go
and kill him myself. But I know Courtney, with her momma, and Katya, she needs to do this.
Kind of like giving the patriarchy the middle finger right up until the moment his empire
crumbles and Courtney kills him. The hospital staff were on board after a big cash injection to
the department and hospital itself from Caitlyn, Wolf, and me. They agreed to help us cover
this up.
Richie faked the documents to show that both Courtney and Amelia died because of Chloe.
But that before Courtney died, she killed Chloe. These have also been sent to Chief through
various different channels, so he can’t trace them back to us and now we wait for him to call
and for him to fake being upset.
Courtney said it would only be for a few weeks. Then she will start f*****g with him. Katya,
being the little Russian psycho she is, was all for it. So here we are. Sitting comfortably in
Katya’s mansion while Amelia is held against my shoulder while Courtney sleeps upstairs.
“How is she?” Havoc asks as he walks closer to me and plucks Amelia from me and has his
daily cuddles with her. He is one of her godfathers, after all. Fabio and Richie are her others.
We haven’t decided on godmothers just yet because Courtney doesn’t know that many
women. I have a feeling she will ask Katya and Miss Kitty.
“Sleeping. Any news yet?” I ask him as he smiles down at my cooing daughter in his arms. He
shakes his head.
“Nothing yet. Give it time. It has only been two days.” He says to me and I sigh, knowing he is
right. But the longer this takes, the more anxious I feel. What makes us so sure he won’t come
here to try to take Katya out?
“I know that look, man, don’t worry. My woman and yours are both more than capable of

taking Chief on. He won’t dare step foot here, not unless he wants to die. Katya is not one to play with. She may look like a doll, but it all depends on which doll she is at that moment. Could be Barbie, Voodoo, or Annabelle.” He says with a shiver, and I chuckle at him before he kisses Amelia. He has found his match with Katya Ivanov. She matches his crazy and I couldn’t be happier for him.
“But you baby girl, you can be any doll you want, and when you are old enough, I will teach you
how to be a badass.” He coos at her with a chuckle. Like hell he will. With the strong women in her life and all of us badass bikers, she won’t ever need to worry about being picked on.
“Enough of that. I don’t want her corrupted with what you will teach her.” I say as I reach to
take her when he turns his back to me and pouts over his shoulder at me. Possessive
asshole.
“That is so mean. I’m not that bad. I was simply saying she will learn how to be cool.” He says,
and I roll my eyes at him. It is a damn good thing I love Havoc, otherwise I would kill him.
“Well, no matter. I want her to have a wonderful childhood.” I say and Havoc nods his head as
he sways, holding my daughter.
“Of course, I understand. Even if it is boring. But don’t worry baby girl, uncle Havoc will make it
extra exciting. Yes, I will, god you are so bloody cute. I could just eat you up.” He says when he
kisses her little hand and I see the pure love and protection in his eyes as he looks at my
daughter.
“I think she is ready to sleep.” He says as he walks off with her and I follow behind him. I know
Havoc didn’t have a great childhood growing up. It was filled with pain. He had to fight to
survive.
He doesn’t talk about it, but I know it was hard for him. He was trained to be a weapon at an
early age. I know he killed a man when he was five. His father was proud that he destroyed his
child. Havoc killed his parents and fled when he was eight.
My mom found him when he was ten and took him in. We became brothers and when we were
sixteen. We were running the streets. We both started to prospect for my father and then I
took over.
But since we arrived with Amelia. I have seen that light in his eyes. The light I haven’t seen in
a long time, his need to protect and love his niece. He walks to where her basinet is and gently
puts her down and covers her up. Before he starts to rock her. We both just watch silently as she closes her big green and gold eyes.
“She is truly a treasure, Kaden. She is so precious, so special. She is beautiful, and I know she

is all Courtney, because you are one ugly motherfucker.” He says with a low chuckle and I smile at him, shaking my head.
We wait a little while and walk back to the sofa in the living room. It was really nice of Katya
to let us stay here and she assured us it was the best place to be. Her home is like a fortress.
We have the advantage. We are watching Chief and when he finds out about Courtney and
Amelia, he will start making his plans to take back what Katya and Courtney did.
But he would have to go after Katya and Caitlyn. But that in itself is a death sentence, and he
knows it. Chief is clever, but Courtney is smarter. She has already anticipated what he will do
and with the help of her momma. Caitlyn spoke to Karma and they are all ready.
Courtney thinks Chief will send assassins to kill her momma and Katya. When she said this,
Caitlyn and Katya both chuckled and so did Courtney. All three of these women together make
me shudder.
Together or apart, they are ruthless and dangerous. Only a fool would try to take them out. But Chief, he will be desperate to regain control and desperate men make mistakes. We have all
placed bets on how soon after he finds out that Courtney and Amelia are dead. How soon will
he act?
So for now we wait. The women have been coming up with plans and strategies. We have also
had input, but our main job is to keep them safe. Especially Amelia. She is a threat to Chief, even though she is only a few days old. With her being alive. She is the next inline to become
the heiress.
Now we all understand why Caitlyn ran. It wasn’t just because she had a target to take care of,
but she knew that no matter what, she would always have a target on her own back from her
nonno.
Men like Chief, Ivanov, and Grim are all consumed by greed and look how that ended for two
of them. Oh, not forgetting Benito Bianchi. The only one left alive is Jonah ‘Chief‘
Morrison–Gambino.
Well, his reign will end soon and we will all see a new era be ushered in with the women at the helm. The women who are the rightful heiresses of powerful families. Women who can freeze
a room with one look, who won’t be fooled by a pretty face. To quote Courtney.
Not my circus. Women are immune to the power plays by other women and men. Especially our women. Courtney may not have grown up knowing about the world she was born into. But for someone who has only known about it for a few short months. She is more than capable
of ruling, I can’t wait to see the day that the entire criminal underworld bows at her feet.
