I stood in the hospital corridor, my back against the cold wall, trying to calm my racing thoughts. My gaze was fixed on the white ceramic floor, but my mind drifted to Sabrina, who lay weakly in that room

When the doctor approached me, I lifted my head, looking at him with a mix of hope and anxiety in my eyes. Every second felt tense, and I hoped to hear good news about Salitina’s condition. The atmosphere around me felt heavy, as if time was moving slowly in this uncertainty

Doctor, how is Sabrina?I asked without wasting any time

The doctor, a middleaged man with graying hair at his temples, looked at me with a serious yet calm expression. Mr. Nicholas, I must be honest, Miss Sabrina’s condition is quite concerning She is suffering from severe physical exhaustion due to prolonged stress, lack of rest, and irregular medication. This has made her body increasingly vulnerable.”

The doctor’s words hit me like a bolt from the blue, making the world seem to stop for a moment. Anxiety and quilt surged within me. I knew the heavy burden Sabrina was carrying, and now it was manifesting in her troubling condition

I took a deep breath, feeling guilty. Sohow bad is her condition now?”

He folded his arms across his chest, his tone growing heavier. We found that her blood pressure was very low when she arrived at the hospital. That’s quite dangerous, especially for someone with a chronic illness like her. If this continues, serious complications could occur, including impairment of vital organ function”

The doctor’s words made my heart tremble. A deep anxiety enveloped my mind. I couldn’t imagine losing Sabrina. All the mistakes and neglect I might have shown her swirled in my thoughts, demanding accountability

What should be done? Is there a way to ensure she recovers quickly?”

I looked at the doctor with hope, wishing for a solution that could help Sabrina. Every second felt precious, and I wanted to do everything to support her

The doctor nodded slowly, explaining that intensive care and appropriate attention were crucial. He advised that Sabrina get enough rest, follow the recommended treatment plan, and avoid stress as much as possible. Additionally, emotional support from loved ones would greatly aid her recovery process

We have started treatment to stabilize her condition. But the most important thing now is that she truly needs to rest and undergo stress management therapy. Otherwise, her condition will continue to deteriorate. And one more thing. The doctor looked at me firmly. Sabrina must not miss her medications again. It’s essential to maintain her body’s balance.”

Every word from the doctor felt like a stern warning. I nodded, trying to absorb all this information. A sense of responsibility grew stronger within me. I was determined to help Sabrina through this difficult time, ensuring she received the support she needed and no longer felt alone

I understand. I’ll make sure she follows everything you recommend. Butwhat about her mental state? She seems very stressed.”

The doctor sighed before responding. Yes, that’s what worries me. Sabrina’s mental condition is one of the main reasons her physical health has collapsed. If her emotional issues are not addressed quickly, our medical therapy may not be effective enough.”

His words immediately turned my thoughts to Charlie and Hazel. All this chaos, all the pressure Sabrina was under, largely stemmed from that conflict

So, what should I do, Doctor?I asked in a low voice

Help her find peace. Reduce her stressors, whatever they may be. If she has strong emotional support, it will greatly aid her recovery process. If possible, I also recommend counseling or therapy to help her manage her emotions.”

I nodded, realizing how vital this role was. Creating a supportive and safe environment would be my main focus. Additionally, I was determined to seck professional help so that Sabrina could receive comprehensive care

I knew the heavy burden Sabrina was carrying. And I understood that most of the responsibility now lay with me

Thank you, Doctor,I finally said. I will ensure she gets what she needs.”

The doctor smiled faintly, giving me a light pat on the shoulder before leaving me in the corridor

I stood there, staring at the door to Sabrina’s room. In there, she was fighting against her physical and mental weakness. I vowed to myself, no matter what happened, I would not let Sabrina face this alone again

Whatever it took, I would protect her and Charlie from everything trying to destroy them. This sense of responsibility flowed within me, pushing me to take real steps. With strong determination, I planned to be the

peace. support she needed, helping them find their way to recovery and

I pushed the hospital room door open slowly, trying not to make a sound. Inside, Sabrina was awake, weakly leaning against the bed with a still pale face. Her weary eyes were directed out the window, as if lost in thought

Once she noticed my presence, she turned, giving a small, forced smile. Seeing her in such a state made my heart ache. I could feel the weight she was carrying, and I knew I had to be by her side, ready to provide the support she needed. My presence here was to give her hope, helping her feel not alone in this struggle

Nicholas, her voice was weak, yet still gentle

I approached her, pulling a chair up to her bedside and sitting down. How are you feeling now?I asked softly. Sabrina took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. A little better, butI feel so weak, she replied

Seeing her speak with difficulty made me even more concerned. I knew this journey wouldn’t be easy, but I was determined to stand by her every step of the way. Patiently, I was ready to listen and provide the support she needed as she fought to recover

I held her hand gently, as if afraid to hurt her. Her hand felt cold, and I could sense the tremor of discomfort within her
