Peter Pov
“Where are you going. Baby?” I asked when I saw Lizzy taking do a suitcase from the cupboard.
Lizzy turned and smiled at me. She approached me and hugged my waist affectionately. I saw she was wearing a beautiful dress and her face had thick colored make–up.
“I’m going to Rome for four days. There’s a perfume ad shoot in starring in there,” said Lizzy cheerfully.
1 frowned. Why didn’t Lizzy tell me at all beforehand?
“Why didn’t you tell me, Baby? Was this a spur of the moment job?” I asked in a sharp tone.
Lizzy let go of her arms around my waist and looked at me, her forehead also furrowed.
“There’s no sudden modeling or advertising work,‘ said Lizzy. Thave received the shooting schedule for this advertisement Since the beginning of bet month.”
“It’s been a long time and you didn’t say anything to me, instead you’re just going to leave like this?” I snapped, unable to hold back my anger.
“Oh? Do I have to report all the details of my activities to you? Why?” Lizzy asked in surprise. “Are you going to do that to
me too?”
I looked at Lizzy in confusion. Why is she getting annoyed so easily lately? Is it because of the influence of her pregnancy hormones or does she really have this kind of emotional nature which I didn’t realize before?
“We live together and more than that, you also live at my house, I answered firmly. “My mother and sister are here. If you just leave without saying anything beforehand, they might be confused and wait for you to come home.”
“That’s weird,” Lizzy said. “Why should your mother and sister be confused if I leave suddenly? Is it because, if I’m not there, then no one will pay for the food they ordered?”
“Lizzy!” I snapped. I was very surprised to hear Lizzy’s words. “Why do you say bad things like that about them?”
“Because it’s true!” Lizzy snapped irritably. She walked over to the nightstand and opened a drawer, took out some paper, like a receipt, and handed it to me.
“Look! I haven’t lived here for a month, and I already have to pay so much!” said Lizzy in an angry tone.
I took all the papers from Lizzy’s hands and threw them on the bed.
“Geez, Lizzy, why are you changing the subject?” I asked annoyed. “I’m asking why you left suddenly, didn’t tell me first, even though you had plans for this work months ago? Don’t you think I’m important enough to know what you’re going to do outside when you’re not with me?”
Lizzy fell silent and she seemed to soften. She took my hand. Sorry,” she said. “I didn’t know that you have a rule that your partner must always be under your supervision. Next time I will tell you my work schedule or whatever I have to do outside the house.”
I looked at Lizzy in confusion. I felt like her words were teasing me, but I wasn’t sure because she was smiling so sweetly while saying it.
“Okay,” I said, sitting on the side of the bed, “What time are you leaving?”
“In about two hours. My group and I will attend a dinner with the sponsor before leaving,” answered Lizzy as she started

packing her clothes into her suitcase.
1 didn’t want to disturb her and went into the bathroom. My lidly feels very tired after working on lots of reports all day at
the office.
There were several new staff who were incompetent in handling the opening so I had to do a recap and it really drained my energy and mind.
The water in the bathtub was very cold and suddenly I longed to soak in warm water that was fragrant because it was dripping with lavender essential oil, with aromatherapy candles with the same scent, and a glass of wine that had been prepared on the side of the bathtub.
Leora always prepares all this for me, if I come home late from the office.
Finally I turned on the shower and just took a quick shower, because my stomach was starting to feel hungry. Lizzy said she was going to have dinner with her colleagues before leaving, so guess tonight I’ll just have dinner with my mom and sister.
When I came out of the bathroom, I saw Lizzy’s clothes messy on the bed and she herself was standing with her hands on her hips in front of the open and messy cupboard.
“Lizzy? What are you doing? Why is it so messy?” I asked confused. Are you looking for something?”
“My cashmere leather jacket I bought in Türkiye last year is gone!” Lizzy frowned irritably. “Did you see it?
“I don’t know. You have so many clothes, even all my clothes are now pushed into the corner,” I said nonchalantly.
If you don’t like my clothes taking up your wardrobe, buy a bigger wardrobe,” said Lizzy.
I chose to remain silent, not responding to Lizzy’s words anymore.
1 left the room, leaving Lizzy struggling to find her jacket. Since Lizzy has been living with me in this house, she buys something every day. Every day there are always at least two to four package delivery people who come.
It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s not a problem for me either, because Lizzy bought it with her own money. It’s just that I think she’s too wasteful and often buys useless things.

“Why are you shouting, Peter? You’re giving me a headache!” Lizzy said angrily.
“Where are Mom and Eva?” I asked just as annoyed.
They’ve been out since this afternoon, answered Lizzy as she took something from her handbag. I don’t know where they went either, because they didn’t say anything

table.
Lizzy clicked her tongue. “Didn’t I tell you to find a chef? I can’tcook and no one in my family can tell me to cook. Your mother and Eva, why don’t they do it!”

When he was alive, my father was a famous chef who worked at the biggest and most famous hotel. Of course, all the delicious food we ate was the result of his skilled hands.
After he died, my mother learned to cook, but her cooking was not good. So we hired cooks, who changed frequently because they couldn’t stand Mother’s and Eva’s harsh criticism.
Then, Leora made everything change. She can cook and everything she serves is always delicious and to our taste.
“Never mind, I’ll just order fast food,” I muttered as I took the phone from my trouser pocket.
When I was choosing food from the online application, I heard he voices of my mother and Eva coming in, talking loudly. They stopped in the dining room doorway when they saw me and Lizzy’standing there.
Before I opened my mouth to greet them, Lizzy suddenly shouted loudly while accusing Eva.
