Chapter 19

Everyone froze in place, while Grace glared at them. The dress that Grace wore at that time was very beautiful, like a royal princess’s dress full of sparkling sempuins.

Jayden laughed at my words. He looked at me and Grace who were still waiting and he winked. “Let’s go to our table, ladies You must be hungry”

Noah took me to the front of the women’s bathroom. “I’ll wait if you haven’t finished later, or just wait for me here if you finish first.”

I nodded and watched him walk towards the men’s bathroom which was not far from the women’s bathroom.

When I entered, Eva was doing her make–up in front of the sink mirror. She saw me come in with a sour face.

I paid her no mind at all and went into one of the booths. After I finished and left the cubicle, it turned out that Eva was still in front of the sink, standing with her arms folded in front of her chest, staring at the cubicle where I was. She was clearly waiting

for me to come out.

I walked over to the sink and washed my hands, without looking at her at all. It seemed like she goi annoyed and unexpectedly, she pulled my hand roughly.

I grimaced. Her long nails scratched my hand leaving three reddish lines.

“What, Eva? You’re so rude!” I snapped angrily.

“Tsk! You’re spoiled now! You never even cried when I slapped you or grabbed you,” Eva snapped. “Has being rich made you soft? Where did you use the services of a shaman to ensnare Jeremiah’s family?”

I didn’t answer Eva’s words, just took the phone and took a photo of Eva’s hand scratches on my arin.

“Hey, what are you doing?” Eva asked confused.

“This will be evidence of abuse if I intend to report you to the police,” I said calmly.

Eva looks panicked now. Don’t be ridiculous, Leora! I only scratched you a little and I’m sure it didn’t even hurt at all!”

“Do you want to know whether it hurts or not?” I asked, deliberately raising my hands and showing my beautifully decorated nails.
