“Noah, I’ve talked to the developer and they said everything will be ready by the middle of next month. What do you think? Can all the human resources we need be immediately empowered when it opens?”
In the dining room right now, there’s only me and Noah. Grandpa Kent went to France with the electronics company’s board of directors to review the land for factory expansion, while my twin brother seems to be enjoying staying at his fiancée’s house.
Noah has been staying at the mansion for two days to accompany me, on Grandpa’s orders, even though I said that I could be alone and there would be no problem.
Actually, I’m also happy because Noah is here. So far, I think our relationship has become closer, since he accompanied me to supervise the renovation of the hospital that I will mannge.
Noah is a very intelligent man, not only intellectually, but also mentally. He is very mature and good at organizing things down to the smallest details and is very meticulous.
I feel safe with him, because he always knows what needs to be done and what can be postponed or abandoned, so that everything feels effective.
Noah is also a person who is open to criticism and always open in his opinion. He is not fake and sweet–talking. He will apologize and say thank you without hesitation, and always appreciates everyone with a polite please.
Uh, I think I’ve been praising Noah since earlier, so I didn’t hear what he said. His thin lips moved, mesmerizing me. I must be crazy.
“Leo? Are you daydreaming?” Noah asked as he put his spoon and fork on his empty plate.
“Uh, n–no,” I answered in a daze. There’s something bothering me.”
“What’s wrong? Just tell me.”
“No, it’s nothing important. Sorry, what did you say earlier?”
Noah raised his thick eyebrows with a questioning face. “So, all the doctors, nurses, and staff, can start working right away as soon as we declare the hospital open. They are very enthusiastic and waiting.”
“Ah, thank goodness. I was hoping they would all get along. After all, this is a new hospital, everything is new, and if there are any disputes within, it would be a hassle to run it properly, right?”
Noah smiled faintly. “Don’t worry. When there is a problem. I will be the front guard to help you.”
It was something simple that family would usually say, but I felt like hearing it from Noah made me blush

My inner voice was really nagging, but I couldn’t deny the truth. So I reached for a glass of orange juice and took a sip as a

“So, what are we going to do today?” Noah asked as he took a bite of the coconut pudding that was served for dessert. “Is there anything you want to do?”
“Umm… I want to go to the mall to buy some formal clothes for when I start working. So far, the clothes I have are mostly house dresses and after living here, all of them are informal clothes that are not suitable for work, I said while imagining the

“You look good in anything, Leo Noah said “You have a beautiful face and a beautiful body shape. Nothing will look had on you”

1 quickly finished my breakfast, in order to keep my expression formal and not let Noah know that my heart is turning into a flower ganden right now.
Oh, stop it. Leo. He just said something small talk without wearing his heart. Don’t take it too personally.
Then, I’ll drop you off. I think I also need a new shirt or two and he, Noah said. “What time do you want to go?“
I looked at my watch, and it seemed too early to go to the mall was only a few minutes past nine now.
“Il o’clock? I need to reply to some emails now, if you don’t mind waiting. I replied.
“Okay. I’m going to finish some paperwork too. When you’re ready, please knock on my door,” Noah said. “I didn’t get much sleep last night, just in case 1 fall asleep while checking the paperwork, just wake me up. Let’s go out for lunch. There’s a restaurant I want to show you.”“
I nodded and took my down and saw Noah staring at his phone with a frown. He looked upset.

I finished replying to several emails from suppliers of medicines and medical devices offering cooperation with the hospital and quickly changed into a simple V–neck short–sleeved shirt and knee–length jeans.
I looked in the mirror and felt satisfied with my casual appearance, after wearing white sneakers and a shoulder bag that matched the shirt, which was light blue.
I went downstairs and looked into Noah’s room. The door was not closed tightly. I knocked softly, but there was no response.
I pushed open the door to his room slowly and saw Noah lying face down on his desk, on top of a pile of papers that were being reviewed.
So apparently he really fell asleep. I stood in front of him, hesitant to act. What should I do? He asked me to wake him up. but seeing him so sound asleep, I couldn’t bear it.
Finally I climbed onto his bed and sat on the edge, waiting a few more moments to wake him up.
The gentle breeze coming in from the open window made me sleepy instead. I stretched and lay down on the pillow. It seemed like a short nap wouldn’t be too late. We were just going to the mall to shop and have lunch.
I didn’t know how long I had been asleep, when a soft stroking of my hair made me wake up suddenly. For a moment I felt dazed and looked at Noah who was smiling at me.
“Hi, little lady, are you awake?” Noah greeted.

I quickly sat up and looked at my watch. Oh my, it was almost one in the afternoon. How could I have fallen asleep like this. “When did you wake up?” I was annoyed. “Why didn’t you wake me up?”
“Hm, around half past eleven I woke up and saw you sleeping. I didn’t have the heart to wake you up because you looked so sound asleep. So I just sat and watched you sleep.”
Noah pointed to the sofa on the side of the bed.
“You, watching me sleep from there?” I was confused. “Why?”

I was so embarrassed and I think my face was already bright red how, because it felt hot from the inside.
Noah laughed and held out his hand to me. “Let’s go? I’m hungry now

I looked at his hand and hesitantly reached out, which he immediately grabbed to hold. He took his wallet and phone from the table, then led me out of the room.
I noticed my hand in his grip. Why did it feel so good?
However, Noah suddenly stopped walking when I stepped on the last floor so I lumped into him. I felt his grip tighten and when I looked up to ask why he stopped walking, my eyes were fixed on someone in front of us.
A woman, wearing a tight sexy dress that emphasized her curves was staring at me and Noah with a sharp gaze. She directed her gaze at our clasped hands.
“B*TCH! GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY NOAH!”
