We finished breakfast in silence, each of us busy with our own thoughts.
After breakfast, Noah went back to his room and closed the door. I felt a little guilty towards him, for giving him problems when he just got here. He hadn’t slept in his room in the house last night and had been in his apartment. I also didn’t call him at all, once Cathy came home until she finally fell asleep restlessly.

I surned around, when I heard Noah’s voice behind me. He was standing in front of the door, probably the bathroom, with only a black towel wrapped around his waist to mid–thigh and another towel in his hand, apparently to dry his still half–wet hair.
