By then, Elizabeth had married Kristopher and was no longer burdened by the financial struggles that once weighed her down—her grandmother’s medical bills were long settled. With her financial troubles resolved, Elizabeth’s life had shifted to domestic responsibilities, striving to be the perfect wife to Kristopher.
